Are you an in-game hoarder?

I hoard like crazy in game and irl. I think it's just the fact I never want to loose items because I think they'll somehow be important later on.

 

Skyrim, anyone?

My inventory, for the longest time, was absolutely packed full of nearly-useless gear. Eventually, I forced myself to get rid of non-crafting materials. Still obsessively hoard herbs, metals, gems, etc.

I'm glad I prefer a mage, or I'd hoard weapons and armor too.

 

I'd be surprised if there was anyone who didn't have this problem, to be honest.

Even when I have duplicate items, I still end up keeping them until the end of time...

 

I like to hoard stuff, as long as there is no limit.
Weapons, Armor, etc. I keep at least one of each that I come across, in my inventory.

 

Really, I am. I hoard so many shinies in X/Y that it's unreal. They aren't even used in battles, they just sit there...in the box, forever. Lonely, lonely creatures.

 

I rarely, if ever, use my inventory items. No matter the game, I just tend to forget I even have an inventory unless absolutely necessary.

 

Depends on the game, some games I hoard all the items I find, others I sell items once they becomes worthless. Pokémon for instance I will horde absolutely everything (except money items and X items), where as Bravely Default I will sell weapons when they won't do any use to me anymore.

Any games with some sort of alchemy system like Dragon Quest (can someone tell me any games that have as good an alchemy system as DQ9 please) I will hoard all the things just in case they can be used in a recipe for some super epic item that I could get only by keeping that item.

 

Every time I buy Pokeballs or Full Restores, I buy at least 99 of them. Every single time.

I hoard weapons and food and junk whenever I play Skyrim.

 

Oh god, you have no idea. Every game ever. Be it money, Pokémon, weapons, armor, healing items- you name it.

I don't know how this habit started but it sure as heck hasn't ended

 

"Oh look, there's an item over there which I already have 35 of. The way to get there seems quite dangerous as well. Still must get it!"
"I already have 999 rupees, so I can't collect any more anyway... Ooh money must have!"

The more items I have the safer I feel, so I definitely want as many as I can get. I spend about 1000000 pokedollars buying 100 of everything in Pokémon X.

 

not sure i am a bit of a mix. but also probably not but yeah.. probably a mix of a horder and not so much of a horder for me. just collect items. breed Pokémon or whatever sometime they might sit there. or might train them. whatever. lol

Definitely. I find this to be even more true for Nintendo games since a lot of them tend to be cute-looking which only makes me want to own everything even more just to say I've 100%'d a cute-looking game. <_<; I go out of my way to open every chest and obtain every item, though it can be very draining after a while.. It's hard to proceed without nabbing whatever's in the area unless you've sucked your motivation dry if you're playing a game with a lot of optional items and content to obtain.

I do my best, though.

 

I don't hoard much in games, actually. I've never caught the entire pokédex, and I never really plan on doing that. Didn't feel like collecting all the mega stones, etc. I just do the things I feel the need to, like getting competitive 'mons for VGC tournaments.

 

Yes I am totally like this. When I play RPG's I'm too afraid to use anything because maybe it will be more useful later and then it doesn't get used for a long time.

I think i'm more of a collector, in games like FF3 or Castlevania (The DS titles) there are a lot of items you can only get once... So If I sell anything, I MUST leave at least 1 of that item in my inventory.
