Are You Catching More Pokemon Than Usual?

Whenever I saw a Pokémon with a rare move, I went attempted to catch it because of how rare it might've been. I don't normally catch that many Pokémon, but ORAS definitely made me catch a lot more than usual.

 

I loved the new feature and it totally has me catching way more Pokémon than I ever have before. I found a Brave Bird Skarmory, Brave Bird Zubat, Brave Bird Taillow... lots of good moves led me to catch all of these brand new Pokémon that I was entirely not used to catching.

I feel like GF did a great job with ORAS. The game really met the goal of making us want to catch them all (and with the special moves too XD).

 

When I saw the Dexnav, I got the stupid idea that I would catch every Pokémon in it. So you could say that it has influenced me to catch just a few more Pokémon... Or a few more whole boxes... xD

I usually only caught my main team of Pokémon and the legendaries, leaving my boxes virtually empty. Now, I have entire boxes packed full of random Dexnav Pokémon I've caught. It's much more fun for me to catch Pokémon now, too!

 

I personally prefer the interface of the habitat list from B2W2, but yeah I can't argue that the dexnav is certainly making me want to catch more Pokémon than without it!

 

I just caught all the Pokémon on a new route, because I'm a completionist like that xD I managed to do this for maybe the first ten routes, then I got bored with it and went on... I don't really feel the need to catch all the rare move Pokémon; I probably won't use most of them anyway

 

I didn't use it that much during my playthrough, but after I completed the main storyline, it's really great for helping me catch Pokémon I haven't seen or caught on routes. So that's what I use it for nowadays. x]

 

Not at all. I have been catching a ton less, in fact. I'm facing the E4 right now, and I've caught a whopping 10 Pokémon. I plan to check all the routes and catch all the Pokémon post-game, but I'm just sticking to my team right now, haha.

 

I'm actually catching the same amount as I tend to! I usually catch everything in an area before moving on and slowly dropping that habit towards the end of the story since it becomes tougher to keep up with; had the same trend in OR/AS. Though the DexNav is undeniably amazing so if I wasn't much of a collector to begin with I definitely would've caught more in these wonderful games. <3

 

I actually am catching more Pokémon because they have rare moves and stuff like that, I also just got the national dex and went back through the game to catch the new Pokémon that appeared everywhere.

 

I've actually been catching less Pokémon than usual. I think I have a grand total of 10 Pokémon in my Alpha Sapphire. I don't need to catch anything when I can already breed for anything I want in XY and just Bank it over.

 

Actually, I have been catching more Pokémon than usual! I never really thought about it until now, but it's true that DexNav has influenced me as such. If the Pokémon had a Hidden Ability or special move, I'd go ahead and catch it!

 

I've been catching more than usual! It's really fun dexnav chaining, especially since you can encounter Pokémon from different regions doing so! The accessibility to o many different Pokémon has really made it easy to catch more and "better" Pokémon.

 

I haven't caught as much Pokémon as I probably should have. I tend to not catch Pokémon unless I know I'm going to use them, or when I'm catching Pokémon to complete a 'dex. I've caught a fair amount regardless, even if my boxes are full up with Pokémon I've transferred from XY, haha.

 

I'm not unless they have a good move or are stronger. I actually find it irritating at times unless it shows a Pokémon I'm looking to get.
