Are you for or against legalization of Marijuana?

Two edged sword. I personally think if marijuana is ok. It is a mild drug compared to some drugs Like Meth and Crack and has great medical potential.

Also looking from economical stand point, If marijuana would become like tobacco, manufactured by nations and sold legally through companies, it would become very asked product and would bring money to poor 3rd world nations.

But i understand the people who oppose marijuana. It does cause damage to brain and nervous system at the long run, but so does alcohol.

I think Marijuana is ok and i think its pros beat its cons.

 

I think i would be good to get drug money from criminals and give it to nations.

Also the effects of marijuana are pretty harmless in comparison to other drugs. Hunger, laughter, laziness, loss of time and bloodshot eyes are not so bad compared to say like alcohols effects on some people.

I will most likely never smoke pot, but i have nothing against those who do.

 

I don't have any interest in it myself, but now that it's becoming legal in certain states here in the US, I think it will help a bit considering before it was being sold illegally and giving criminals more to make money on. Apparently it does have medicinal value too, so as it gets properly regulated maybe it will then be able to help in other countries too like YouHoney said.

 

Maybe not, at least not right away. But who knows later on, though it would be incredibly difficult. We can only hope.

 

In America, if we were to legalize marijuana more than 70% of crime rate would go down. I mean think about it, we have murderer's, pot dealers, thievery, and child molesters in jail, prison, etc. that we dont have enough room to put people who get caught with pot, or deal the plant. But we would allow child molesters and a small fraction of murderers leave and leave the dealers in jail. America is spending more money on keeping the dealers in jail and letting the actual bad people go out and about in America where there is a probability of them causing another act of crime that could be more fatal than a plant.

Now I'm not saying go for it, smoke weed on your prerogative but I have nothing against marijuana since I don't see myself smoking it, but it would be a lot better to legalize it in America.

Again my opinions, not facts.

I actually used to live in Washington, so I might be a bit biased here, but...

1. I don't think anyone really cares about the laws, I mean, people still smoke weed. Even at my school. O_o
2. Mexican drug cartels get hella rich from selling weed.
3. Legalizing=taxes=$$$

So legalize plz.
