    With Scarlet and Violet only a few weeks away from release, it is prime time for a lot of us to decide on which version of the game we're getting.

    Will you be getting Scarlet or Violet? Why are you choosing that particular version? Are you still waiting to decide?

    I personally have pre-ordered Scarlet since my roommate is getting Violet. I didn't have a strong preference this time anyways. I like going into Pokémon games without knowing the Pokédex, so I'm not going to look up version exclusives first either.

    Violet! I honestly just really like the cover legend a lot more, not much else to it. It is nice though that one of my roommates is getting Scarlet and we can get the preorder bonuses that go with the double pack.

    I'm getting Violet since I prefer its box legendary and the professor. I'll be avoiding spoilers for exclusives as well. With Sword and Shield only Purrserker was spoiled for me, so I think I'm getting better at it. Having to mostly quit Twitter and Tumblr for a few weeks will be interesting though.

    I just preordered Scarlet the other day, so clearly I'm getting Violet. On a more serious note, so far I've preferred the revealed version exclusive content of Scarlet (which right now consists of the boxart legends, the professors and one pair of Pokémon). Plus Scarlet is a shade of red, which is my favorite color, so that's a big point in its favor as well.

    I preordered the double pack so I'm technically getting both, but I plan to make Scarlet my main one. Can't wait to go into this without looking at any spoilers or leaks. Honestly I'll probably end up playing it on launch day, which would be a first.
