Art Contests

I don't know if any are going on right now, but you don't have to wait for one to draw. There's a portfolio section on the forums, found here where you can make your own page and show your drawings to everyone. Future events will be announced and posted here.

 

If you have a dA, there are always a ton of contests going on over there.
The prizes usually range from points (which you can transfer to IRL money but 20% is taken away from you)
or cash (through paypal, but not many tbh), and ofc the most common are art prizes.
It might be a good idea to search around your vicinity (country?) for small scale art competitions if you're
into that sorta thing, for teens. Sometimes you do need your parent's permission though if they
have to mail you the prizes and you need to give out your address.

As for the dA contests, there are usually no age requirements (man, who discriminates on age on dA?
we're all artists anyway, and above 13) but again, if there are irl prizes, you need to be comfortable with
giving some information out (paypal details/address etc)
