Social media is a good way for artists to reach out to people and gain an audience. Some post to very many social media platforms, while others not so many. Fellow artists, do you post your art to social media? If you do, do you like to have many platforms or do you like to stay on one or two? I personally like to post my art to only a few platforms because I find it very difficult to keep up with.
If dA counts, then dA it is. I think I wouldn't be able to keep up with having different platforms too, and there are some like FB that I'd never post art on anyways. Also I've been sharing more and more wips to different Discord servers I'm in. I guess I find Discord better for wips, maybe because you can comment more quickly/easily.
Mostly DA for me, but maybe I should start using my Twitter more often to share stuff. Need to think about it
i mostly post my stuff to either instagram or twitter! i used to do tumblr but i honestly dont give a single damn towards updating that thing anymore and all the people in the fandom moved to twitter anyways haha. i used to post on dA too but that thing is long dead f for respects of course i post my stuff to LV as well but i dont really count it so bluh
The two forums I'm active-ish in (here and another one I staff) have art topics, then most of my discord servers, my dA, and my FB all have art. Sometimes I forget I have a dA, but otherwise I can keep up fairly well.
