Pokémon Anime Ash's Strongest Pokémon.

    What would Ash's six strongest Pokémon be? The ones that might just be the team that would win him a Pokémon league?
    Just to make things interesting, Pikachu is not eligible.

    Here are the Pokémon I choose:
    Infernape
    Krookadile
    Heracross
    Snorlax
    Sceptile
    Greninja

    These are arguably some of Ash's strongest pokémon, and it gives him a nice variety when it comes to typing. And if you're wondering why Charizard's not on there, well, because I think that Infernape is stronger. I love Charizard, but just because he was Ash's first powerhouse doesn't mean he's his best powerhouse.

    This list is assuming he'd actually evolve them all, and maybe even mega where applicable...

    Why would I pick Pikachu to begin? He loses a lot of battles considering he is supposed to be Ash's partner. Anyway, out of the Pokémon that I remember Ash having, here are the ones that I think that is Ash's strongest. (Presuming you can't evolve any of them)

    You'd be surprised how many people want to choose Pikachu just because. I've seen a number of lists that automatically chose Pikachu just because he's Ash's main pokémon. And then all of them ended up having a tie for one of the other spots, so I always end up shouting out my computer screen 'get rid of the Pikachu and put both pokémon on the list!"

    It's between these two for me

    Geninja, for an obvious reason or Charizard for potential mega evolution and that Charizard, has shown that he is powerful when he actually listens to Ash.

    Now if only these two could get a competent trainer...

    First off, the obvious choices I have to choose from:
    Greninja
    Snorlax
    Sceptile
    Krookodile
    Charizard
    Infernape
    Heracross
    Lycanroc

    Of these I have to eliminate 2. The top four are getting in because they are all super strong and have no role overlap. I will eliminate Heracross because Ash's Johto team sucked. You can clearly see a huge Fighting weakness in the team, so Charizard is in. Sorry Infernape. I know that at this point you are stronger than Lycanroc, but it still has time to improve, and your typing clashes with the rest of the team in comparison to Charizard's. Also, Lycanroc is the only Pokémon viable for this list who has experience with Z-moves. So here's the team:
    Greninja
    Charizard
    Sceptile
    Snorlax
    Krookodile
    Lycanroc
