If it allows for a unique experience, wynaut? Although, there does exist a fan rom of Firered/Leafgreen by the name of Apollo that lets you play as a rocket grunt with a completely new story (BTW, still haven't played it yet as I'm caught playing other fan games).

Assuming I can't be a trainer, I'd say champion but you'd be sitting in a room by yourself for the rest of your life, and that's as dull and depressing as it can get.

I'd probably be a ranger, they get into some interesting stuff. Don't believe me? Look no further than the spinoffs. But taken occupations from other worlds into account... Pokémon expedition team leader, YOOM-TAH!

1). No I didn't actually... Woof, woof!

2). I like fish, they can be quite amusing to watch time to time. In terms of having a pet, I used to own some goldfish as a kid, but nowadays I'd stick to something I can interact with, or at least hold. Such as ducks. I love ducks.

 

I'm familiar with it, but no I haven't played Magic, however I have seen a few friends play the game, so maybe someday I'll try it out... Maybe.

Ice types.

Their weather is almost only useful to themselves and makes team set-ups (for me at least) too awkward and situational to handle; minus Alolan Ninetale's hidden ability, which from what I've heard, is what actually makes it top-tier. There's also the fact they only resist themselves (not counting multi-types). Their status infliction is entirely luck based. On top of that, there's only a select few ice types I'd feel comfortable using competitively or casually; Lapras, Weavile, Alolan Ninetales, (Mega) Abomasnow and maybe Glaceon are exceptions to this.

 

Truth be told, I don't invest a lot of free time in mythology (if any at all), but if I had to pick, I'd say Hades because his Disney and Nintendo adaptations are just full of villainous charm... Says I, who hasn't even played a Kid Icarus game..

 

I've tried two nuzlockes; one on Fire Red and the one on Sapphire.

In my Fire Red run I did lose quite a few pokémon. I beat the champion but quit before I had the chance to fight Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave (damn wobbuffets). My starter was venusaur, which I named He-Saurus, and my favourite pokémon that I had in that run were my snorlax and fearow.

Sapphire went much better but I think that's because I subconciously went easier on myself, and the fact that I chose mudkip (seriously though, Swampert dominates gen 3 playthroughs). I was very fond of that run because I got some really cool pokèmon that I've never used before like breloom and aggron.

 

Funny you should mention that, because it's actually the Team Rocket event. I haven't really participated much in any others (aside from a berry catching contest), but it was thanks to that event that I caught a Mew

Also, I'm mainly reppin Rocket so I can hold the Record for Longest Lake Valour user to wear the Team Rocket hat. If I had it my way I'd join Team Skull for the lols, or Wigglytuff's Guild.
