Ask Strytho Anything

I figured I'd join in the fray. Feel free to ask me any questions you want, just nothing too personal please. You can be silly, just expect a little joking (I used sarcasm earlier but this was more of what I'm going for) back. I figured that this would be a good way to get myself out here and introduce myself on the site.

Anyway, have fun and I look forward to answering some questions.

 

Okay, time for a little story. At first I hated Pokémon with a passion. It started in 3rd grade back in 1999 when pokemania first swept america. Everyone was into it except me. I didn't like it at first but then I watched the anime with my older brother and the rest was history. I watched the anime, I played the card game, and played blue version. I started playing over and over without saving on my brother's red version until I got blue for my birthday. Years later my mom forced me to give up Pokémon due to stupid religious reasons and I was forced to throw everything away. I was even made to hate it again because I couldn't participarte again. Then I went to college and got back into it after my friend James gave me his platinum version for my birthday. I got back into it and once I got black version I got into collecting ha Pokémon and eventually rare, bank, and special ball Pokémon when I got my y version. Pokémon has always been a matter of love and hate for me but now that I'm an adult who can make his own choices, I choose to love and never let go. Now I only do the games though so no more cards and anime. Besides, I stopped watching it just before the whirl islands, do you know how long it would take me to catch up? Anyway, that's basically my story of how I got into and got back into Pokémon.

That's a tough decision to make and here's why. I have tourette syndrome and require medications to treat it. If I pick too early I'd be labled as possessed or demon filled *yaddayaddayadda* and could be killed for it or locked away due to how people used to percieve and deal with the disorder. Therefore assuming that it's me as I am, I'd have to pick the current time when there are laws that protect me or some time in the future.

Edit: I've had time to give this question more serious thought and ignoring my condition, if I could choose a time period I'd have to say during the 1800s so that I could see some very key things like the civil world and the 1892 worlds fair, which I have a coin that came from that fair. The world's fair always interested me and the civil war was a defining point for america, had the north lost a precedent for succession would have been established and the us would not exist, instead north america would look alot like europe with tons of smaller countries.

The first question is a tough one. I love the mountain side but at the sameside I love the sea too. I'd have to pick mountains because I enjoy climbing more than swimming.
My favore flavore of cookie is chocolare chip cherry, which my family makes every year at christmas, true fact our cookies stay moist for over a week!
Soft for cookies and brownies, cruchy for chips and tacos. Truth be told which one I like dpends on the food.

 

-- I play megaman, rune factory, some star wars and star trek games, some of the older mario games, Some of the older soniuc and sega games, and of corse the older shining force games to name what comes to mind off the top of my head.
-- I have never cosplayed.. well technically. To explain this I've actually written a couple of books that I never got published. A few years ago and again this year I'm dressing up as one of the characters from one of the said books because I just plain feel like it.
-- Actually my favorite season is winter but I'm also really fond of summer.
-- I don't really have any valuable collectors items since I don't collect for that reason.
-- I LOVE game music. Of course though, two of my facorite songs og all time come from the megaman zx series. Trinity from ZX and determined eyes from ZX Advent. They are REALLY catchy.

It's honestly a toss up from (go figure) Trinity from megaman zx and determined eyes from megaman zx advent. I really llove those songs and find them playing in my head several times a week if not a day.

 

Okay, let's start with the symbol. This one requires a good and detailed explaination so here we go. Over the past ten years I have written 3 books, none have been published and one was written twice. That said book was about a boy who chose to give up everything in order to save the lives of his friends and family, about 45 people in total. He was genetically engineered and trained for a supper soldier project, 12 families were forced to have 3 kids with superior genetics, one child was chosen from each familt to be "upgraded" into a biological android through a long conversion process in order to be super soldiers for the united states government. the main character originally found a way out of it but was given a vision of what would happen if he went through with it. driven by fear for what would happen and love for those who would suffer due to his discion, he destroyed what was thought to be his only means of having a normal life in order to save the ones he loved. All 12 children then faked their death by order and with the help of the governement. 12 children went into the project, only one made it out alive. the main character was the only child to survive the five year transformetion process. Now that you have that backstory, in the beggining, each child was given the task of designing an insigna, a personal symbol for themselves. These symbols would be made into special tattoos that would be imprinted on their left shoulders. When scanned using a special device they would provide data such as personel and medical files, schematics for repairs, and various other details about their internal systems. There were 12 children numbered BA001 - BA012. The symbol I use for my avatar at this current point in time is the symbol of BA007. He is an aqautic model, built for combat around, in, and above water. Had he reached completion he would have commanded a special submarine. He was a big fan of the pirates of the carribbean movies and was also into the whole cattulu thing. He based his symbol off of cathulu and davie jones for that reason. It looks the way it does because there was a rule for all of the symbols, it had to in some noticeable way reflect thier model number. In this case, it's the 7-pointed star built into the symbol. He always thought that fear was the best way to deal with enemies and influence allies, hence forth why the symbol looks a tad bit creepy. This symbol was originally drawn by hand, then later drawn by hand again in microsoft paint and boy was that a pain. I don't know I always thought of fear and halloween when I came up with the character and when I think about him today.

Next question. Heart Gold is hands down my favorite Pokémon game. Alpha sapphire is a close second and I wasn't the biggest fan of gen 3 so yeah.

I prefer cold weather. Hot weather you can only take so much off but cold weather, you can always put more on, or stand in front of a fire place.

The most important thing I have is an old eisenhour dollar that was given to me long ago by a deceased friend of the family. He taught me the value of a hard day's work, the value of a dollar, and many other virtues when I was really young. Without him, I would not be the person I am today and I really miss him. Rest in peace Ray.

 

Well, it is now "Story Time With Strytho"
I was but a wee lad in fifth grade. My brother and I had just finished watching ronin warriors on toonami and were now pretending were were ronin warriors ourselves with our own sets of mystic armor. I forget what his was but mine was moon startum, a white armor with the power of the moon. We had to pick new names for our characters and I I couldn't come up with one. My brother said the name had to sound japanese and so he suggested Strytho or something to that effect. I picked strytho and it has been my official go to nick name ever since. I have even used it in multiple runs in multiple Pokémon and other video game series, such as shining force, rune factory (for fanfic purposes), multiple fan fics that I never finiished, a couple of books had characters whith "Strytho:, in the name. I have actually lost track of how many instances I have used that name for nay given reason, I love it that much. At one point I would dream and my partents would call me strytho instead of my real name in the dreams, that's how accustomed to it I am. I hope you guys like my story telling because I feel ALOT more coming down the pipe. XD
