Ask the Bard. (Riobhain AMA)

Hello, I'm Riobhain, more commonly known as Rio. This is my first thread, and, in leu of my good friend @[member="DocTachyon"], was inspired to make it an AMA.

I will take any questions, though I do reserve the right to refuse to answer a question if its blatantly stalker-ish.

With that determined, ask away.

 

Umm...okay? I mean, I've commented on a lot of threads in may day, both on and off Lake Valor, so having one that's mine isn't too far off from that.

I'm a decent artist when it comes to pure pencil-and-paper (any computer programs or things like oil and paint and I immediately begin to suck). I also do Speech and Debate, which has led to me gaining some decent debating and arguing skills.

It's fun! I mean, it's amazing that a community of like-minded people can gather no matter where they are in the world, Lake Valor or otherwise. This place seems pretty good as far as communities go, though, as one of the newer members on this site, I don't want to judge it yet.

No. If you wanna know a secret, I skipped the fifth generation of Pokémon games entirely. I own Black, White and White 2, but haven't played any of them to completion. In fact, the farthest I've gotten in any of them is White 2, where I beat the first Gym Leader only.

Cold. I have tremendous cold tolerance but little to no heat tolerance.

I primarily listen to songs in English. I occasionally listen to songs in Japanese, but not a whole lot.

 

Fall. For me, spring and summer are too hot, and if you heard about the recent weather patterns in the American Northeast, you'll understand why it isn't winter.

Also none. For a while, I did have a slight phobia of needles, but that has since been resolved.

 

I am the least musically inclined human ever. I have little to no musical talent at all.

Yes, sucking at music. Also, I memorize the last words of famous dead people.

 

I'd like to learn piano. It's on my list with learning Portuguese for things I gotta know before I die.

I try to keep in mind type balancing -- making sure I have something to counter everything. There's nothing more enraging than when you run into an Aegislash and have every move but a fire one.

 

Earth, primarily because my biology wouldn't allow me to stay on any other planet without massive technological assistance. Though, the idea of "Wandering planets", or planets that move through space randomly, without orbiting a star as ours does, fascinates me.

I've always been a big psychology person. In fact, when I go to college, it is my intention to double major in psychology and sociology. People are fascinating. If you're ever bored, just go to a city or some other populous place (concert, maybe?) and just watch them and their behaviors. Looking at it from a third person perspective suddenly makes it super fascinating.
