Aside from the BBQ (which is by far the best, though NC is really good too)? Definitely! Most of the people in the town I live in are really nice, caring people, y'know? The weather gets really hot in summer, but most of the time it's pretty nice (thankfully we haven't had to deal with tornadoes since I moved there, and only had to endure the remnants of a hurricane not too long ago) and it's not as humid as it is at my grandparents' house in Louisiana (where I'm staying right now due to college being out). It's hard to reach some places due to it being a college town and thus larger than the normal small town, but I actually enjoy walking places (and feeling safe while doing so).
When's the last time you took pictures with this weird stuff called film? Remember having to go get those picrures developed at a shop?
Oh yeah, I remember film. It's been awhile, though, since I've had to get film developed, but my interest in photography didn't develop until a few years ago; it's gotten to the point where digital cameras give better-quality pictures than even the most state-of-the-art film camera, so there's little point in getting them. Scariest? Hm, tough one. I've been through three types - hurricane, tornado, and earthquake - and for me the least threatening-feeling one was the hurricane, although that's simply due to how long it drags out. Earthquakes and tornadoes tend to last anywhere from a couple of minutes to an hour (in an earthquake's case, that hour is filled with intermittent vibrations), so the shock value is higher; plus, there's very little in the way of warnings regarding those two, so there's no way to prepare for them. For me, I suppose the more terrifying one would be the tornado, but the earthquakes I've been through weren't all that damaging (due mainly to distance).
Are you good at playing Tetris? Do you like driving a car? Does whatever happen in Vegas, stay in Vegas?
Eh, I'm decent enough. But then I don't play to get the crazy 4-story clears; I just try to keep the screen as empty as I possibly can. Definitely. I do my best thinking while driving, and that's while keeping mindful of the various ebbs and flows of traffic. Not really; all things have consequences that go beyond us as individuals. Putting our own questionable actions aside, just the general activity alone determines things such as which casinos stay open and which ones close, which shows continue and which are cancelled, how much the local government supports or does not support them, and so on. And that's just scratching the surface.
Would you travel into space, given the opportunity, or do you like having both feet firmly planted on the ground? XD Favorite vegetable? Call me crazy, but my favorite is honestly broccoli.
Same here, actually. I'm far pickier than I should be when it comes to vegetables (texture issues), but there are a few that I like, and broccoli is probably my go-to when it comes to vegetables in dishes.
Dunno, never tried. But then, I have a mild form of ADD (or so my therapist told me; I haven't been officially diagnosed, and at my old age it'd likely be pointless), so I can't imagine it being rather high.
"'Tis not for man to ponder why; our duty is to do and die." ... At least, I think that's how the quote is supposed to go.
Earl Grey tea. I also like blueberry-pomegranate juice for when I need something sweet while also being natural, but there's nothing quite like a hot cup of Earl Grey (or cold, for those blistering summer days).
How easy or hard is it for you to memorize phone numbers? Do you think Batman is overall good at being a hero? When it's raining, do you prefer a jacket or an umbrella? Or just dealing with getting wet like a boss?
Depends on whose phone number it is. That's why even back before cellphones could record phone numbers, address books existed. There are a few numbers that I can remember by heart, but those are primarily in the family. Which Batman are we talking about? There are at least 52, if memory serves me correctly. In general, though, I would say he is. Depends on how hard it's raining. I used to live in Florida, so afternoon downpours are commonplace, and those are times when I pull out my poncho; I get less wet from using that than from using an umbrella. For light rain, as long as I don't have to walk far, I'll just go out into the rain normally (though if it's a really cold day I'll definitely bring a jacket).
Flying-type.... probably Articuno. I just love its graceful design, y'know? Either Glaceon or Leafeon.
Judging by your favourite Eeveelutions, am I right in thinking you're a fan of Sinnoh? Or is it just a coincidence?
It's something of a coincidence. I like a lot of the Sinnoh Pokémon designs, but there are a lot of gameplay choices made for the DPPt games themselves that makes them rank lower than Johto and Hoenn. I do like it more than Unova and Kalos, though. Also, I had a really hard time choosing between them because, with the exception of Sylveon (and only due to its eyes), I love ALL of the Eeveelutions. Jolteon is a reliable Electric-type, Flareon is a powerful Fire-type (that got a very strong boost in DPPt), Vaporeon and Umbreon are the backbone of my Baton-Pass team, and Espeon is one of the best Psychic-types.
