Okay, in order:

Which Pokémon would you love to have as a pet?

Pikachu--he was the first Pokémon I ever knew, and I've always felt Ash's and Pikachu's friendship is beautiful

Do you have a method for coming up with weekly prompts?

There is no method per se--I'm mainly inspired by things that happened during the week, events in the news (and gaming news), articles I read, "what if" questions, and amusing thoughts

Which Pokémon type do you dislike?

I don't flat out dislike any, but I wouldn't mind some nicer looking Ground and Rock types


What inspires you the most in life?

Probably folklore and fantasy, judging from my collection of Pokemonized folktales. Music is a huge inspiration as well--this is why my characters tend to at least sing or play an instrument

Do you have a favorite flower?

Cosmos (especially the yellow and orange ones), Marigolds, and Zinnias

What is your most favorite book?

Andre Norton's Songsmith--a great older fantasy that is a minstrel-centric story done right.

What type of writing is your favorite?

Fantasy and fantastic sci-fi (similar to Star Wars and Final Fantasy 8), by far!

What inspired your name?
Wave-a disturbance on the surface of a liquid body, as the sea or a lake, in the form of a moving ridge or swell.
Pearl--the birthstone for June; it has long been associated with the sea.

 

If you could go to any Pokémon region, where would you go?

All of them, including the regions in the side games

If you are to be in an evil organization from Pokémon, which team would you be a part of?

I wouldn't be part of the teams...it's more fun to stop them!

Do you like waffles? ewe

Yes, especially if they are homemade.

Have you ever been to a different country?

No, but I really really would like to one day.

 

Favorite book--Andre Norton's Songsmith (If you can track it down at your local library or buy it off Amazon, it's a great example of a good minstrel-centric story.)

Fanfiction--I haven't really gotten into a longer series of fanfiction, but a good friend of mine on another board has written a series of comic one shots starring Team Rocket that always made me laugh until I cried--the first one in the series starred a Pichu (which he christened Jerry after I suggested he get a name), and the little Pichu became a running gag in the series.

Movie: Ho boy...I have quite a lot of favorites, but best story in a movie (that isn't adapted from a book) would be Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
