Heya! After being here a few days I decided I wanted to open up a bit more, and I decided, how do that better than being drilled by questions? So ask this lifelong Pokémon fan amongst a sea of others any questions, and I will answer all of them as soon as possible! :]
you're now a gymleader due to a paperwork mishap. what type/trainer class would you be representing and how would effect your gym's puzzle/layout
Okay, so I would probably be a Normal type Gym Leader, in a cozy little village that would be near the harbor town where a player would go crossing the seas to continue the adventure. My main Pokémon would be Porygon-Z, and I could see the gym being made like a Town Hall, where you would go through two wings, with paths blocked by paperwork, because bureaucracy really do be like that sometimes. 1. Normal or Psychic. Both are far up. My favourite Pokémon of these types: Mega Lopunny and Reuniclus. Most of, if not all of these are a home run in terms of design though, in my opinion! 2. I have no real genre of preference, I can jam from everything starting with Halcyon - XI to Sea Shanty2. (Though the MapleStory OST will always be near and dear to my heart, especially Cygnus Garden, Night Market and Ellinia.) 3. Well, picture an eight year-old starting to play MapleStory, and needing a character name for their Warrior. I don't play the game anymore (haven't done so since the Kaiser release, methinks), but it stuck. Call it romanticising with the past. Kinda boring, but that's how I got stuck being the medieval figure.
What's your favorite Pokémon to use in battles? Competitively or not, could just be a favorite that you like on your team.
Phew, that's a tough one! I am just gonna list my favourite mons in comp from every Gen: Gen 4: Bronzong (god I love dual screens with Gen 4 explosion) Gen 5: Simisage with Flying Gem Acrobatics (you were the real mvp ThumbsUpMan) Gen 6: Tyrantrum with Hidden Ability Gen 7: Vikavolt That's covering each Gen competitive, but I always carry my shiny Quagsire from Gen to Gen and I hope I can take it to Galar too.
What are your top 5 anime? How did you get into the draft format? What was your first Pokémon? Also if I may ask, what was the Ttar set that you used when we fought? zacktheGOAT06/30/2019 Also what type of monstrosity is his ttar where genesect got a spa boost
Top 5 Anime: 5. Death Note 4. Gurren Lagann 3. Overlord 2. No Game No Life 1. Kill la Kill Getting into the draft format: Well, to me, there were actually two entry points, first was in Gen 6, when I noticed one of my favourite TCG content creators doing Draft League videos, but it never managed to stick with me, back then at least. Later on, I would join a small-time streamers' league, although me and the people from back then grew estranged and nowadays don't talk anymore, but I was part of their soon-to-die Season 2, alongside Love and Lux, and Love told me that if I wanted I could join Season 2 of his league, and the rest, from there, is history. My first Pokémon: Uhh, I don't know exactly what you mean by that. As in first Pokémon game, or first Pokémon caught? If it's first Pokémon game, it's Pokémon Yellow. When I was younger, me, my brother and my sister used to share the same console, and, well, commonly we'd have conflicts. (Did manage to collect all 151, thanks to glitches though!) If you mean first Pokémon caught, that would technically be Pikachu then. Or a Pidgey. If you mean the first Pokémon I have ever drafted, I mean, my initials are KB, so it HAD to be Kyurem-Black naturally. The Ttar set I used when we fought: I think that set was just 252HP/252Atk/4SpDef Adamant with Chople Berry to take Superpower from Torn-T. Drop dead forgot in 40°C heat to EV for Download, and since Tyranitar has base 110 Defense and base 100 SpDef, you can picture why Download boosted SpAtk.
From The Profile Picture, I Know You Like Kill La Kill Anime A Lot(I Did Watch Some Clips Of It, The Animation Is Awesome!) So, I Was Thinking This: Is The Character In Your Profile Picture Is Your Favourite Character In The Anime? And What Is Your Favourite Weapon In The Anime?
Quite a lot to catch up on so without further ado (individual answers in Spoiler tags so you can find the answer to yours quickly!): Spoiler: Geroniny Yep, Nui Harime is my favourite character in the anime, and in all of anime in general. She is an absurdly interesting character due to her breaking basically every "rule" the anime world sets (think about it a bit like a cute Anime version of Deadpool.) Weapons in Kill la Kill are a bit odd, they don't directly use weaponry, since for reasons I shall not disclose, the clothing makes the wearer stronger than any weapon could. However, my favourite weapon are probably the clones Nui throws out when she doesn't feel like battling already. Honorable mentions are Kamui Junketsu and the Scissorblades. Spoiler: Hidden Lore Hmm, I guess I would bring in Staraptor, it would cause me less fear than for example a giant three headed Dragon or Stufful which would probably break my arms as I'd try to hug it. Also the way you rode Staraptor in Pokémon Ranger Guardian signs was really cool, so I would love to ride a giant bird in real life. Spoiler: Laserdragon14 These are all I can remember off top of my head actually: -Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion -Fire Emblem Awakening's DLCs I probably got more, but I don't really remember them, but I do remember not feeling bad about any of them, as the games I bought them for I threw hundreds/thousands of hours into and then an additional amount of money spent is a-ok for me. (KB's minimum cost-worth relation: 1h=1€) Spoiler: Strytho Kill la Kill is fantastic, I mean it's not my favourite anime without me thinking it's really good. It's really hard to describe though! It's hard to compare, because there really isn't much like it. I think a good way to explain why I like it just that much is the Anime art style of the stillshot vs the Kill la Kill style. A lot of people don't like Kill la Kill because the still frames don't look as good as other anime, however, Kill la Kill makes up for it by having motion in every frame of animation. That doesn't sound like a big deal, but it means in essence that while on most anime you couldn't really get it without Subs or Dubs, in Kill la Kill, you get all informations shown visually. You'd know who's good, who's evil, and what their personalities are. Oh, and the soundtrack is stunningly amazing. Spoiler: RWBY Gaster Partially yes, partially no. I intended to open this thread up a bit later so that not all Q&A's collide, however I thought that now actually would be the perfect time since not only I but a lot of others would be interested in asking questions. Do I like that I get points and posts for egg hatching? Yes, definitely, however I appreciate doing this and getting questions to answer too, and those that ask get points for their Eggs. So it's a win-win situation right?
Welp, judging from my profile pic, why yes, I do. I can't list all of the anime I watched, but I'll try my best to mention em and get them out with a small comment: -Gurren Lagann: Nigh flawless anime (curse you Episode 6), and the one that got me into anime as a whole. Kamina is still fantastic and pretty far up in my favourite characters. -No Game No Life: Pretty fantastic, loved every second of it, really fun cast, and everything was just nice as a whole, did enjoy the movie more than Season 1 though (hoping for an eventual Season 2!) -Kill la Kill: GOAT, I love basically everything, every joke works, every character is great and every part of it just works for me. -SAO: god, what a waste of potential, it coulda been great, but Reki Kawahara just imo is not a good writer (though I heard he got better post Alicization). I "dropped" it after Season 1, but continue to watch because a) the OST is byoutiful and b) some scenes are just honest trainwrecks. -Pokémon: I guess this counts so obligatory "childhood" comment -YuGiOh: See Pokémon comment -Digimon: See Pokémon comment, although I will mention that I watched Movie 1-3 of the Digimon tri. quintology and all of them felt like they wanted to write a Slice of Life but wanted to make Digimon money. So I dropped that. -Akame ga Kill: another one of the "big waste of potential" category, though Episodes 1-6 are so good that I can't really hate it. It's just a tad of sadness for what could have been (and I hated Mine so MinexTatsumi didn't help lmao) -Overlord: Big fan, though I will admit, I do enjoy the episodes that are focused on the characters outside of Nazarick a lot more than the others. -Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: Big fan, probably either in my Top 5 or on that Number 6 spot. It would easily be Top 5, but the Central arc did a lot of harm to the series for me. I still think it woulda been better of without it, and it puts a bit of a blunder on the fantastic arcs like the Camp or Stagiaire. -Death Note: Just really good, it's a classic for a good reason. I think I'mma stop there, that's a decently fine number for now.
