It is time to introduce you to the new version of the Nuzlocke... Ladies and gentlemen, this is
    [IMG]
In a regular Nuzlocke, death will occur to those who were defeated in battle. However, it isn't all that easy in a Sacrificelocke. In this run, all Pokémon care for each other. When one of their beloved friends are about to be killed, they are willing to sacrifice themselves in order to save their friends...
So, these are the Sacrificelocke official rules:
    • First encounter is your catch of the route. This is including the Duplicate Clause, to keep things interesting.
    • No artificial healing items (Potions, Antidote) in battle. Berries and other natural items are fine.
    • When a Pokémon faints, a random number generator will decide who will sacrifice themselves in order to save the fainted Pokémon. This happens after the respective battle. If the only survivor dies, there is nobody to save them from death, and the Sacrificelocke is over.
    • All Pokémon will be given a nickname, to make each of them more living.
Soon enough, the first update will come, so stay tuned...

    First update, here goes nothing:

Hey, my name is Astral. Don't question who or what I am, I don't really know myself either. I'm definitely not a human, that's for sure. I think I'm more of a spirit, or a ghost. Anyway, yesterday I met a Pokémon called Migori. He's a Treecko, or at least that's what he told me. He said something about the destruction of the world, an organization called Team Magma, and about how he had to stop everything from happening. I didn't really follow it...

    Name: Migori
    Pokémon: Treecko
    Gender: Male
    Level: 5
    Nature: Sassy
    Characteristic: Very finicky

Migori left his home to find other Pokémon to aid him in his very important quest, I suppose. He quickly encountered two old friends: Yavis and Viros. A Poochyena and a Zigzagoon, respectively. Those two were always together, no matter what happens...

    Name: Yavis
    Pokémon: Poochyena
    Gender: Male
    Level: 2
    Nature: Hardy
    Characteristic: Thorougly cunning

    Name: Viros
    Pokémon: Zigzagoon
    Gender: Male
    Level: 3
    Nature: Sassy
    Characteristic: Proud of its power

As soon as they wanted to continue, they were stopped by another Pokémon, a girl this time. Her name was Phagia, and she was apparently a Seedot. She said she also wanted to join them, I don't really know why. I guess she just found it a lot of fun or something. Nobody had a problem with her joining, so now they were with four...

    Name: Phagia
    Pokémon: Seedot
    Gender: Female
    Level: 3
    Nature: Serious
    Characteristic: Impetuous and silly

Okay, now it's starting to get ridiculous. A Wurmple named Argens ALSO wants to join their team! What is this whole expedition even about again? It looks like a nice trip to me. But hey, I won't judge, I'm just recording everything I see. So, Argens joins the group, which is starting to look like a serious team. Well, except for Yavis and Viros, those two really can't stay focused for ten seconds...

    Name: Argens
    Pokémon: Wurmple
    Gender: Male
    Level: 3
    Nature: Docile
    Characteristic: Sturdy body

Something actually interesting happened just now! The team entered the Petalburg Woods, where they found a Taillow who was being attacked by a strange guy in a red suit. Migori later explained that he was part of Team Magma, so now I'm sure that he didn't just make it all up. But the actual interesting thing is that the Magma person was about to kill the Taillow (I think Taillow wanted to protect his territory or something), when Argens jumped in between them. His whole body started glowing, and he evolved into Silcoon! I was very surprised to see him do that, since he was the most quiet one all along. But after that, the Magma Grunt ran off, and the Taillow said he wanted to join them to show his gratitude. Of course they let him, and thus Gracius joined the team...

    Name: Gracius
    Pokémon: Taillow
    Gender: Male
    Level: 5
    Nature: Lax
    Characteristic: Somewhat vain

Those damned Zigzagoon. A trainer challenged the team, and my god it was disastrous. Each of them tried to attack him, but they were almost dead after just one counter attack. Things started to look really bad, but then Migori decided to go all out. He landed one fist after another, as if the Zigzagoon was nothing more as a punching bag! But then he recovered, and went for another counter attack. Migori knew that one more hit would be the end for him, and it would only be a matter of seconds before he would feel the massive impact of the Zigzagoon. But the impact never came. Once again, Argens had come in between the two, and packed the punch for Migori, giving him the chance to finish him off. One last punch and the Zigzagoon was down! But unfortunately, Argens didn't survive the impact...

    Name: Argens
    Pokémon: Silcoon
    Levels: 3 - 7
Reason of death: Zigzagoon; sacrifice for Migori

Sorry, short update today, I haven't had a lot of time to play... I promise the next one will be more interesting!

I've watched the team a bit more, and I honestly don't know if these are "the chosen ones". Viros keeps getting poisoned, Yavis almost dies after any hit, and I'm pretty sure Phagia doesn't know how to attack at all! But at least they all stay together closely, so that's good I guess. I really hope nobody will have to die anymore; everyone is still sad about Argens. He was such a good guy too...

As they went through Rustboro City, they encountered a Pokémon called Zana. It's a Nincada, if I remember correctly. She claims to be too weak to take care of herself, so she wants to travel with the team to become stronger. I really don't think they should keep accepting Pokémon like that, but whatever. I wonder what will become of her...

    Name: Zana
    Pokémon: Nincada
    Gender: Female
    Level: 6
    Nature: Careful
    Characteristic: Good perseverance

After they trained a bit more, Migori claimed that it was time to take on "the big one", which sounded really mysterious and all. As it turns out, he was talking about a girl named Roxanne (apparently she's a Gym Leader, don't ask me what that means. Also, weren't they going to take down the great evil or something?). She has two Pokémon, Geodude and Nosepass. The fight looked like it was going to be a cakewalk, but it quickly turned into an intense battle...

Okay so Migori just completely drained the energy out of Geodude, no challenge there. It's the Nosepass where the trouble began. His attacks were really strong, and for a moment it looked like nothing could save them anymore. But then Yavis came with a plan, or at least he said so. He ran into the field and started kicking up dust. Yeah, that was it, just kicking up dust, nothing else. It looked really ridiculous, but it actually turned out to be very useful...

The Nosepass was so blinded by all the dust, that he kept missing all of his attacks. It was simply hilarious to look at. Migori ended the fun quickly though, because not even Nosepass could stand up against his mega drains. They received a special badge from Roxanne, and then they left again. Really? They only did this for a simple badge? Whatever...

Remember that Magma Grunt I talked about earlier? The one who was attacking Gracius in the Petalburg Woods? Well, he's back once again! Migori saw him running away from Rustboro City, into some kind of cave. Of course, they immediately ran after him, but right before the cave an old man stopped them. He was almost crying, and nobody understood a word from what he said, but he kept screaming one word over and over again. It sounded a bit like this: PEEEEEEKO!!!

Long story short: the Magma Grunt stole a Wingull from the old man, and now he was in the cave, beating up a Whismur. Naturally, the team quickly stopped him, after which the grunt ran away again. It really wasn't anything special. You probably already saw it coming, but yes, the Whismur wanted to join the team. However, Migori said that it might get troublesome if the team grows too big. He decided that Whismur could travel with them, but only as a backup. The best part about this though, has to be his name...

    Name: Yadoogles
    Pokémon: Whismur
    Gender: Male
    Level: 10
    Nature: Impish
    Characteristic: Somewhat stubborn

So yeah, Yadoogles is now officially a member of the team, although just as a backup for now. I honestly don't think anything could surprise me anymore at this point. Anyway, they returned Peeko the Wingull to the old man, who then explained that he is a sailor, I think. At least he has a boat. That was perfect, because their next destination was across the water. Or at least, that's what Migori claimed. He seems to know what he is talking about, so I believe him. The old man was glad to help them this way, and in a matter of hours, the team arrived in Dewford Town...

Okay... I don't even know how to explain this... It was a massacre, a complete tragedy... I can't believe it... How can one Pokémon cause something like this... Eh, let me try to explain what happened...

Dewford Town has another one of those leaders, just like Roxanne. Apparently they're a big deal, I don't really know why. The team decided to challenge some people to get stronger and better, to prepare for the next leader. But then they made a big mistake. One of the challengers had a Machop, and it was deadly. At first, Gracius wasn't all that worried. He claimed that he could easily take him down on his own. He flew up high, and rushed down at him for an attack, and that's when they realized how big of a mistake they had made. The Machop quickly jumped up and kicked Gracius with a low sweep in mid-air, knocking him down...

Viros had an idea. He used his high speed to rush around the Machop, hopefully confusing him enough to get a good hit in. But once again, Machop was stronger as they thought, and he managed to kick Viros away, despite of his high velocity. Viros fell on the ground, unable to get up again. The Machop jumped in the air, and aimed at Viros, ready to deliver the fatal kick. But someone took the hit for him. And that someone was Yavis. Yavis knew that he wouldn't be able to take a hit like that, but he had to save his friend no matter what. Yavis flew away and crashed into a wall, never to move again...

    Name: Yavis
    Pokémon: Poochyena
    Levels: 2-11
Reason of death: Machop; sacrifice for Viros

I wish that it would end there, but Machop still wasn't defeated, so the battle continued. Machop tried to aim at Viros again, but Migori quickly attacked him from behind. He saved Viros, but now Machop was aiming for him instead. Migori tried to use his mega drains on him, but it was surprisingly ineffective. This is where things started to fall apart. For the first time, even Migori didn't have any idea how to win this battle. His attacks got weaker every time, while Machop didn't lose in strength at all. Machop prepared one more kick to finish off Migori, but then something blocked his vision. It was Zana, who had jumped on his face to prevent him from seeing anything. She thought that she was safe there, since all Machop did was kick his opponents. But then they found out that his power didn't just come from his legs. He grabbed Zana, and threw her at the wall with an immense force. She didn't survive the impact...

    Name: Zana
    Pokémon: Nincada
    Levels: 6-9
Reason of death: Machop; sacrifice for Migori

Migori walked backwards, trying to increase the distance between them. He knew he wasn't able to fight anymore, so he had to get away. He just didn't realize that Viros was still laying on the ground behind him, and Migori tripped over him and fell on the ground. Two Pokémon, too weak to fight, just waiting to get defeated by Machop. Gracius knew what he had to do. He wasn't going to survive, and he knew that very well. But Gracius didn't think about himself, he thought of the rest of the team. He flew up in the air again, and rushed at Machop. He knew he would die, but at least he would take down that Machop with him. They collided, and both Pokémon flew away...

    Name: Gracius
    Pokémon: Taillow
    Levels: 5-13
Reason of death: Machop; sacrifice for the team

Taking down the foe that terrorized their team would've been the most honorous way to die for Gracius. Unfortunately, it didn't quite happen like that. The Machop, although severely hurt, was still alive, and this really seemed to be the end. Machop slowly walked towards Migori and Viros, each step bringing them closer to their death. It was over. Everyone saw it coming. Nothing could save them anymore, nothing would be able to defeat that Machop. But then, at the very last moment, Phagia appeared. I really don't know where she had been all this time, but suddenly she was there, standing in front of Migori and Viros, willing to protect them with her life. It was false hope though. Phagia didn't even know any attacking moves, she couldn't do anything. Machop got ready to kick, and there she went...

But Phagia didn't go anywhere. Machop landed a full hit on her, but she didn't move a bit. Machop was visibly confused, but he didn't worry. He just went for another kick, and again Phagia just took it like it was nothing. Machop started kicking her much faster now, but nothing happened. Suddenly, Phagia's body started to glow. I instantly remembered Argens, and how the same thing happened to him in Petalburg Woods. Suddenly, Phagia had obtained a completely different appearance. She took advantage of the Machop's confused state, and punched him with all her might. The Machop crashed into the wall, and didn't stand up anymore. Finally, after all that had happened, they had won...

They trained, and trained, and trained, just to become strong enough to defeat the second leader and take another badge. What on earth makes those badges so valuable that they're worth all these horrible deaths? They look like normal badges to me. Anyway, they went to a certain cave behind Dewford Town, where they met up with a Makuhita called Quetris. He taught the team many things about their fighting spirit, and eventually he decided to come with them. Quetris actually seems to be a pretty powerful Pokémon, so that's finally an addition to the team that's not entirely useless...

    Name: Quetris
    Pokémon: Makuhita
    Gender: Male
    Level: 10
    Nature: Calm
    Characteristic: Somewhat of a clown

It was time for the big showdown. The battle against the great fighting leader had finally arrived, and the team was ready for it. Or at least, that's what they thought. The leader used a Makuhita and a Machop, both prepared to battle. Quetris immediately took on his rivalling Pokémon, while the rest backed him up. This is where their hard work and training finally showed off. Their strength wasn't the only thing that had grown, their friendship had grown better as well. The teamwork in this battle was amazing, but that wasn't everything they needed...

After a rough fight, the opposing Makuhita went down. Everyone was tired from the fight, but there was still one more Pokémon to defeat. Machop had been working himself up all this time, and now he was even more dangerous as usual. I'll spare you the details, but none of the team members could hold themselves against him. Not long after, everyone was gasping for breath, trying to stand up on their legs. Once again, a Machop was going to cause their end. And that's what Migori snapped...

You... You killed them... Gracius... Yavis... Zana... They are all dead because of you... THEY ALL SACRIFICED THEMSELVES FOR US, SO THAT WE COULD KILL YOU!!! AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT THEIR DEATHS WILL NOT BE MEANINGLESS!!!

Migori didn't glow. He didn't have to get hurt to do it, unlike the others. He didn't need all of that. His own rage was enough to initiate his evolution. Strong, sharp blades were sticking from his arms, pointy enough to easily pierce through someone's body. He smiled an intimidating smile to the Machop, before he dived straight into him. Two slashes and the battle was over. Everyone had survived, and they happily accepted their new badge. Migori looked even more like a leader in his new form, and they continued their adventure with regained confidence...

Why can't the madness just end for once? The team continued, and arrived at the beach of a place called Slateport City. They decided to battle some more trainers, just to make sure that they wouldn't lose in strength. And then it happened, another trainer with a Machop. This Machop wasn't like the others, but he really focused on his speed. And that was exactly where Quetris' weakness was. He couldn't keep up with the rapid punches from the Machop, and he fell on his back in the sand. But then the next thing I see is the Machop making a backflip and falling on the ground behind him...

Apparently, it was Yadoogles, protecting his friend from dying. I still wonder how he managed to pick up a Machop though. Machop was not amused, however, and he launched the poor Whismur high up in the air. He just completely disappeared out of sight! The Machop got back up again and walked back to Quetris. At that moment, Yadoogles came back down for his final smash. Like a cannonball, he shot down through the sky, crashing straight into the Machop, leaving a giant dust cloud behind. Needless to say, Yadoogles did not survive the impact...

    Name: Yadoogles
    Pokémon: Whismur
    Levels: 10-15
Reason of death: Machop; sacrifice for Quetris

More Team Magma dudes, yay! This time they were at a museam, for some reason. Well actually, a little bit more intelligence wouldn't hurt them. The team beat everyone pretty easily, I'm pretty sure they weren't even trying. After they had defeated enough grunts, an old man walked up to us and started ranting about some things I didn't understand. He's like the big boss of Team Magma or something, I honestly couldn't care less. Old guy ranted some more, then scolded the grunts and left off. Whatever...

All that crazy stuff aside, the team left Slateport City behind and they head out for the next route. There, they found a Pokémon that was being attacked by a duo of Plusle and Minun. Migori immediately decided to do something about that, and he got rid of the electric duo very easily. The Pokémon was a female Gulpin, and she claims that her name is Gloupti. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Gloupti. It's not getting any better as this...

    Name: Gloupti
    Pokémon: Gulpin
    Gender: Female
    Level: 13
    Nature: Gentle
    Characteristic: Scatters things often

So, lots of grinding later, the team is looking pretty good. And I should admit, Gloupti isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still, with a name like Gloupti, you can't expect anyone to think much of you. There were some really challenging battles here and there, but overall it went pretty well. But then there was this one battle that was, let's just say, slightly more difficult as the others. And with slightly, I mean a lot...

There was a Wailmer (slashed by Migori) and a Shroomish (sludged by Gloupti), but neither of them really stood a chance. However, the third Pokémon was a Combusken, and that definitely was a much bigger threat. It shot a flaming ball towards Migori, who jumped away from it just slightly too late. A few sparks hit his side, causing him to scream in pain. Migori fell on the ground, and the Combusken got ready for a new attack...

It was no use. The battle was long and intense, but it was clear to see that they were going to lose. Everyone tried their best, but there was nothing they could do. Phagia was the last one standing, but she couldn't save the team a second time. Combusken didn't make a move, he just waited for Phagia to act first. Phagia looked behind, where the team was laying on the ground, defeated. Migori swore he saw her smile, right before she turned back to the Combusken and ran into him at full force. Combusken, who thought he had the victory in the palm of his hand, realized his one major mistake only a split second too late. He and Phagia both fell off the edge of the path they were fighting on, and landed in the water below them. They waited one minute. Two minutes. Five minutes. But Phagia didn't surface...

    Nickname: Phagia
    Pokémon: Nuzleaf
    Levels: 3-19
Reason of death: Combusken; sacrifice for the team

The team reached Mauville City, where they wanted to rest for a while. They had been through a lot of stuff now, so they deserved a break. However, something prevented them from actually relaxing for a moment. It was a strange Pokémon called Illumise, who kept buzzing around them in a very annoying manner. They decided to move somewhere else, but Illumise followed them. Apparently the Pokémon was too stupid to understand that she wasn't welcome, because she stuck around wherever they went. And so, Illumise kind of joined the team, I guess? I don't know...

    Nickname: Derglurp
    Pokémon: Illumise
    Gender: Female
    Level: 13
    Nature: Rash
    Characteristic: Hates to lose

    Nobody. Likes. Derglurp.

Wattson. Haha, I get it. Watt-son. Now that I think of it, aren't all the big leaders' names puns on the Pokémon they use? That's pretty lame, to be completely honest. Anyway, after training for long enough, the team finally decided to challenge the Electric leader and his Pokémon. He sent out a Magnemite, Magneton and Voltorb, and the fight began...

The Magneton immediately took action by shocking Migori in his face, paralysing him entirely. He tried to stand back up, but the electricity running through his veins kept him from moving. They would have to win the battle without him. Meanwhile, Gloupti and Derglurp teamed up to take down the Voltorb, which they barely succeeded in. Derglurp was severely hurt, while Gloupti was still okay. However, no matter what Gloupti tried, her poisonous attacks didn't affect the Magnemite or Magneton. She couldn't do anything for them anymore...

Viros rushed into the Magneton, but it didn't do much to it at all. Magneton's steel body was much too tough for Viros to headbutt. A strong electric shock hit him just like with Migori, and he fell on his back. This time, Magnemite stood by and another shock hit Viros. Powerful electronic shocks were sent through his body at a rapid pace, and for a moment it seemed like he wasn't going to make it. The two Pokémon kept hitting him time after time, but then it suddenly stopped...

Quetris had grabbed the Magnemite from behind, and he held it in his hands as if he was going to crush it. Of course, Quetris was much too small to actually do that, but then Migori saw him glowing from inside. A powerful white glow, which only meant one thing: evolution. Quetris grew huge, and I mean huge! Everything, from his hands to his head, had at least tripled in size, if not more. Now he could easily crush the Magnemite he was still holding in his arms, and only the Magneton remained...

Unfortunately, the Magneton had seen everything, and it was now hovering above Quetris' head, spinning in circles. A trio of electric shocks hit Quetris all at once, and even though he wasn't hurt by it too much, he did get paralysed by the electronic currents. He fell on the ground, face first, unable to move anything at all. No matter how strong he was, in this state he was definitely unable to win. It would simply take too long for him to recover...

And then something unexpectedly struck the Magneton. It was seemingly nothing more as a flash, but it did launch the Magneton far away. In front of Quetris stood Viros, but he was different as before. He too had managed to evolve, and with this new power he was able to deal some decent damage to the Magneton. Viros helped Quetris out of his paralysed state, and together they dealt the final blow to the Magneton...

And so they received another badge. I guess those badges must have some kind of magical force or something like that, I really don't see why else they could be such a big deal. But hey, they have three of them now, so that's cool I guess. I have no clue on how many there are, but I hope not too many. Anyway, the team left off northwards, where they encountered a new Pokémon who wanted to join the team! It's a Numel called Perredes, and Migori seemed really happy with him. I'm holding my hopes up high...

The team had arrived at the great volcano of the Hoenn region: Mt. Chimney. Big clouds rose up from the center, which concerned Migori. He already didn't like being so close to extremely high temperatures, and this only made it worse. They spent a long time trying to find anything like a passageway through the mountain, but there was nowhere else to go but to scale the mountain. Just as they were about to start climbing, a huge explosion caused the entire volcano to rumble, and suddenly it was showering ashes and debris all around them...

There was no way they were going to escape in time. Suddenly, they heard someone calling in the distance. There was a Pokémon gesturing them to follow after him. Migori didn't entirely trust it, but it couldn't possibly be worse as getting crushed by giant rocks, so they quickly ran after him. The Pokémon lead them to a cave, which they had completely missed while searching for one themselves. Inside of the cave, they rested for a short period of time, while the Pokémon explained the situation...

So you might think that the Pokémon (which was a Koffing, by the way) guided them to the cave to save them from the volcano, right? Well that was not the case. The Koffing explained that a good friend of him got stuck in the volcanic ashes, and now she can't get away from the fall-out. The problem is that it's really dangerous to go out there, the falling rocks were huge. Quetris stepped forward, claiming that he would go out to get her back safely...

A long time went by, until finally, they could see Quetris walking back to the cave. He was holding the Pokémon in one arm, and Koffing in the other. When he was back inside, he put the two back on the ground. In the time they had to wait for the volcanic eruption to stop, they introduced themselves to the team. Slynnis, the Koffing, and a Spinda who was named Gesundheit. Derglurp chuckled at Spinda's name, but then they heard something falling. It was Quetris, who had collapsed on the floor. He had probably inhaled to much volcanic ash, which caused him do die right there, in the cave...

    Name: Slynnis
    Pokémon: Koffing
    Gender: Male

    Nature: Modest

    Name: Gesundheit

    Nature: Mild
    Characteristic: Good endurance

    Name: Quetris
    Pokémon: Hariyama
    Levels: 10-25
Reason of death: Volcanic ash, sacrifice for Gesundheit

After it had stopped raining debris, the team continued their journey. Gesundheit decided to just stay as a backup for now, while Slynnis joined the team. They reached a place called Fallarbor Town, where they once again encountered a Pokémon, a Zangoose this time. He immediately walked up to Migori and inspected him entirely. Then, he handed a letter to him, and left without saying a word...

Migori, I handed you this letter to let you know that I will join your team as soon as the situation calls for it. I will not show myself until then, but I will be around at all times. Do not search for me, or I might be forced to leave your side for good, which will have drastic effects for you and the rest of the team in the future. For the time being, I wish you, as well as everyone else with you, good luck. Sincerely, S.

So anyway, strange encounters aside, the team reached a cavern called the Meteor Falls. Everything seemed calm and peaceful, until halfway through the cave. A Team Magma grunt surprised them from behind, and another one from the front. Actually one of them was a Magma Admin, but whatever. Migori instantly knew they were in trouble. They sent out a Koffing, Numel and Mightyena, ready to attack...

The Mightyena was about to attack Viros, when Derglurp yelled from behind. Confused, they all looked up, and saw how the seemingly useless Illumise taunted the Mightyena. Somehow, Derglurp was able to defeat the Mightyena fairly easily, somebody that nobody had ever expected. In the meantime, Viros had already taken care of the Numel. The whole team stood closely together in a circle, looking for the third Pokémon, but the Koffing was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Perredes saw the Team Magma Admin holding a Koffing in his arms, with his hands for his mouth so he couldn't talk. Perredes bashed his head in the Admin's stomach, causing him to let go of the Koffing...

IT'S A TRAP! I'M SLYNNIS, THE KOFFING OVER THERE IS THE ENEMY, AND HE IS GOING TO SELF-DESTRUCT!!!

Everyone quickly ran away, even thought they already knew it was too late. Then, Gloupti turned around and went back to the Koffing, who was now only seconds away from the explosion. Gloupti jumped up and- She swallowed the Koffing entirely. She started to shake heavily, and it seemed like she was growing bigger. When the shaking stopped, Gloupti had not only stopped the Koffing from destroying everything, but also evolved in the process...

Migori. At the peak of Mt. Chimney, you will find the man you are looking for. Go now, and challenge him to a battle. However, do not be reckless. If you fail, the entire journey will have been for nothing. Good luck, S.

Migori, Viros, Gloupti, Derglurp, Perredes and Slynnis all immediately headed to the volcano, eager to fight the man they were searching for, he who caused the many deaths of innocent Pokémon. Nobody really knew who they were looking for, except for Migori, but they trusted him as a leader, and they willingly followed him. Slynnis knew all the secret paths on the mountain, making the climb a lot easier. Once they had all reached the peak, they rested for a bit, before walking around a bit. Almost instantly, Migori noticed him. The man he was searching for, with his glasses and red clothes. This was him...

Maxie. It's over. I have assembled a team of the strongest and most determined Pokémon I could find, and we are all here to take you down. You will never regain your power, never! I don't want to waste any more time, so let's get straight to the battle. MAXIE, LEADER OF TEAM MAGMA, I CHALLENGE YOU!

A faint smile appeared on the face of the Magma Leader, before he sent out three Pokémon. One of them was a Mightyena, which they no longer saw as a big threat, thanks to Derglurp's amazing performance earlier. The second Pokémon was a Golbat. They weren't too worried about that either. It was his third Pokémon, a Camerupt, that scared the team the most. Nobody thought they were capable of taking on something like that...

With some help of Migori, Derglurp once again took down a Mightyena. In the meantime, Gloupti and Viros managed to defeat the Golbat as well, which didn't take too much time. Then, they all got ready to take on the big Camerupt, who had been waiting patiently all this time. He didn't seem to be doing anything, nor was he preparing an attack, so Migori decided to go for an attack...

As soon as Migori got close, Camerupt raised his foot and stomped the ground. A massive earthquake didn't only hurt Migori, but also everyone else on the field. He tried another attack, but he couldn't even reach the Camerupt at all. Migori fell on the ground, too injured to attack again. Maxie smiled again, knowing that he had won the fight. And it was something about that smile that really made Viros angry. He called everyone together, and discussed how they were going to win...

First, Perredes stomped on the ground just like Camerupt. The ground shook, not nearly as much as first, but it was enough to make the Camerupt aware of the team. Next, Slynnis and Gloupti both launched a powerful venomous sludge at him, which poisoned him quite badly. Then, Derglurp flew up, and started flying in circles above the opponent. The Camerupt kept looking at the Illumise, unaware of the quickly approaching Migori and Viros, who both landed a punch with incredibly force. The Camerupt fell over, unable to move again...

Fine then, I admit defeat. Unfortunately for you though, you haven't won quite yet. Team Magma will rise again, and there is nothing you can do about it. You should prepare for another meeting in the future, even though all of your efforts will be futile then. When we meet again, I will be truly unstoppable! Farewell for now, Migori...
