What are some songs/playlists you use as background music for things like writing/drawing/etc.?

For me, I go with huge mixes like this while I'm writing:

I have multiple playlists with different music styles for different activities. When I'm playing an intense high action game, I'll play dubstep, rock, acapella, and some upbeat orchestral arrangements. When I'm reading or writing in a calm setting, I'll play soft ambient tracks, soothing soundtracks, and generally calm music. I have some variants, but I usually go to those two playlists before the others.

For background music, I prefer music with no/minimal lyrics (instrumental). Specifically, I really like pretty trance or electronic stuff for background music while I'm working on something. It really helps me stay pumped and not get tired or bored. :)

I usually have some kind of music in the background. Usually it's the Gerudo Valley soundtrack, or something from AoT :)

    I blast AoT 24/7

Seriously though, it depends on my mood and what I want to listen to despite the mood of whatever I'm working on.

Most of the time, it's an orchestral house set of a Touhou game.

If not that, it's usually just a lone mix by TAMusic or someone of the sort.

All in all though, I prefer to have ambient, instrumental background music.

I like Tobu-colors in song background. For drawings its good to have no lyric music

Since it's the christmas time, I've been playing a Pop Holiday Playlist and I just love singing to it while working.

Usually I'll have a song on repeat that I'll listen to sooooooooo many times it eventually becomes background noise. Good background noise though.

Noises count as music if you believe. I remember I used to listen to traffic noises as background music.

I love listening to music from anime or video games, particularly the Fairy Tail and Touhou OSTs. I also have a "Relaxing Music" playlist that I play at night or when I RP or create graphics.

I listen to a lot of instrumental music, fan made or from anime's or video games. The more recent ones I've been listening to on Youtube is iamnotacleverpony who makes these:

    or from The Living Tombstone.

It just usually depends on what I am in the mood for.

    Monstercat podcasts.
Good mix of artists and great music in general.
Perfect for games or writing. (And sometime video- and photo editing.)

I listen to a variety of things, video game music, anime music, songs by bands I enjoy, and sometimes I'll just listen to a song that I feel can relate to how I'm feeling. That doesn't happen all too often though, and actually, since I'm still working on a large cross-over that has video games involved I'll often have specific themes present in the areas within the story line and will then listen to said songs while typing out or revising the chapters they're present in. lol Often enough when not doing that I'll just listen to any given song for like hours on end while browsing the web and such though, and try to keep one side of my headphones off so I can hear whenever somebody may be calling for me or anything. :b
