Bacon

I came here from the isnt spam topic and I wanted to say I see you. I see you. >.>

Also bacon is the best meat and that's saying a lot because I really love meat

 

I'm really not a huge fan of regular bacon. If it's a good cut of meat it's okay, but usually it's very fatty and not cooked crispy enough for me, which ends up in it just being a disappointing slab of sadness. I actually really like using turkey bacon when I cook, since it's very lean- I mainly cook it very crispy so I can crush it into tiny bits and mix into foods that I like. I usually mix it with mashed potatoes or eggs, and it's really good!

Overall, though, bacon is alright. I'm not a huge fan, but it does have its uses and it can be pretty damn good when cooked right.

 

I don't like bacon at all. I have many reasons, but saying them may make some people angry...

 

I agree with Del on it should be really crispy. I can eat it when it's not, but it's WAY better if it's crispy.

 

I can somewhat relate to this since my reasons for being vegan are personal and there will always be people who judge out of lack of understanding.

I am just not a fan of meat in general, so Bacon isn't any different despite its large popularity. The smell kind of makes me feel sick and the idea of it being a sliced part of an animal mortifies me as well...

 

@[member="Bloom"], thanks for understanding. Whenever I say that animals are important, so I don't like eating meat, people just argue against me and are so angry at what I think, despite me leaving them alone for what they believe.

I also watched a Victorious episode today where Jade was scolding Cat (or Kat) for being Vegan. I don't know why...

But I'm off topic here...

 

Bacon is love, bacon is life.

Ehhh, I'm so-so about it. I mean, I love having it in a morning fry-up, or making rasher sandwiches with some slices of bacon, but I wouldn't have it all the time. I prefer grilling it to frying it too, and back bacon to streaky or stripped.
