I'm on Route 3, trying to find Bagon, but he refuses to show up... is he really that rare of an appearance?
Yeah, Bagon is pretty darn rare, at a measly 1% encounter chance according to Serebii. However, I believe it also only appears in a specific spot on Route 3, where you have to crawl through that little cave to the lower levels.
*rubs the bridge of his nose* 1%, huh... well, can't say they don't make people work for it. Too bad the DexNav doesn't exist in Sun/Moon; makes searching for specific Pokémon, once you've caught them, SO much easier. Wish me luck! Maybe I can avoid something bad like a Relaxed nature...
You think that;s bad, I've actually had to chain for a Level 10 Salamence to get those perfect IV Pokémon on the GTS. @_@
If you go to the grass on the far side of Kala'e Bay, you'll have a 10% chance. Unfortunately, you'll have to get Lapras Paddle to access that area and it won't be available until the second island.
Using the call-for-help function, right? I was watching someone on Twitch chaining for a shiny Mimikyu... it was pretty bad. >_< What level?
Might as well go ahead and do that, then; I'm up to the point of fighting the kahuna, but after finding out I could get a Bagon super-early (usually you have to wait until the last gym, or just about, to get one since Salamence is so powerful) I wanted to get one for my journey... but spending several hours trying to find one Pokémon (my Magnemite has not only overtaken my Pichu, but my Litten as well) has been rather frustrating, and I'm itching to experience more of the story, y'know?
Late teens sounds like they are teenagers that are just rebelling to SHinigami trying to find them after a night out or something.
Yeah Bagon is quite the challenge. If you still want to have one for your adventure during this point I could trade you over a Bagon egg if you'd like that... that way when it hatches it would have your OT and you wont have to worry about it not obeying.
That'd be great! I don't mind traded Pokémon (I remember using the in-game traded Onix back in GSC). ... How does trading work in this generation? I don't think they have the trading sections in the PokeCenters anymore...
You exchange 3ds/2ds friend codes (mine is 1306-6222-9941) with the person you want to trade with and then visit the festival plaza (button on the bottom screen menu like where the save is). Then once in the festival plaza you connect to wifi and either look for your friend's in game name after clicking link trade, or accept the request they send you.
Alright. I put your FC in (took a minute to remember where it could be found). Mine is 2294-6154-7041.
if that thing is so rare, then how could my then 5 year old niece find it in less than 5 minutes? Seriously, it was the second Pokémon she found! How the Elf did she do that?!
I swear she is just that lucky some times... then again mine only took 20 minutes so I'm the pot calling the kettle black...
Tell me about it... my mom, who also plays Fire Emblem Heroes, has pulled a number of the stronger units in the game that I've yet to pull, even though she doesn't play more than 1/4 of the time that I do.
