Bands that shouldn't exist

There is one band in particular that I cannot stand. The Silly Bandz.


Just look at it. Disgusting.

To be serious though, I cannot stand scream music. I'm told that it is an acquired taste (AKA Stockholm Syndrome), but it just repulses me. Then again, I have very strange taste in music. I listen to Bob Dylan and Dubstep in the same playlist.

 

Okay, I'm gonna get shot for this, but I absolutely cannot stand....

One Direction.

They are EVIIIIILLLLL!!!

 

Okay, I was waiting for this. I knew that One Direction would be mentioned within the first 5 posts, and I was right.
I don't think there's anything wrong with One Direction at all. They're not bad, their music isn't bad...
The problem is the fanbase. The freaking, overreacting, screaming fangirls. The idiots who would dedicate their entire life to getting close to those guys. The 13 year olds with tattoos of the name of one of them. The people whose bedroom is filled up with 1D-merchendise.
They give the band a bad reputation. And I personally can't stand them even a little bit. Horrible.

 

I have to agree with Astral there, what is the real problem are 1D's fan girls, just like the beliebers.
I don't think I got any particularly band that I would think shouldn't exist, I'm just more the type who avoids what I don't like.

 

Honestly I've never met a rabid 1D fangirl. Right now I have really no problems with 1D. At least they're not on the news getting arrested for drug possession...
As for bands I hate...well I really don't like rap music. There are a few exceptions of course but yeah the rest can go.

Yea, for me it is a particular song by an artist (although I just don't like anything by J. I hate 1D more because of how stupidly hyped they get, and JB fangirls are weird. To be honest, I kinda liked Story of my Life (because I interpret the lyrics as they like to break girls hearts, haha fangirls).

If there is one musician/band I wish didn't exist, it would have to be Dami Im. She was the winner of the Australian X-Factor last year, but she sounds too much like Demi Lovato that I swear that someone could just get Demi to sing, not Dami. In fact, for a long time, I didn't realise that the first song she released was by her and not Demi.

 

I agree with people on 1D. I'm no fan of them, but I like to research bands I like and dislike to see what got them started, and they seem to just be pawns of Simon Cowell from the British X Factor so he can get money. They don't even have much talent, and their songs are just recycled from past boy bands. They only get a lot of profit because of how many preteen girls fall for their faces.

I feel the need to put Carly Rae Jepsen on this list too. She may have gotten to the finals of Canadian Idol, but I'm not talking about her talent, I'm talking about her career. All her songs are about her obsessing over some boy like a teenage girl; I've read reviews from supposed fans of her and they've said most of her songs sound so alike its not even funny, and though she's in her late 20's she actually sounds 15-16, if not that younger. With Carly it's not she lacks talent, she just lacks to ability to be a good artist, or to present herself at least around her age.
