Hello everyone! In this guide, I'll be covering the basics that comes with Super Secret Bases!​

➣ Creating a Secret Base!
First off, in order to create a secret base, you need to meet an NPC called Aarune. You first encounter Aarune upon reaching Northern Route 111. Aarune will introduce you into the Secret Base Guild and will give you an essential TM, TM94 Secret Power. When you obtain Secret Power, you will be able to create a secret base in various locations around the Hoenn region.

➣ Secret Base Guild Ranks
As you encounter more secret bases from other trainers that may or may not come from Streetpass or QR codes, you will notice that you can take their flag once a day. Depending on the amount flags you take, your own rank in the Secret Base Guild will rise. The higher your rank, the more decorations and abilities your secret pals have will be unlocked.

â‹™Platinum Rank- 1000 Flags

➣ Sharing your Base
When customizing your base, you can make a QR Code for other players to scan, using the 3DS camera. It automatically adds their base to your list and you can visit their base at any time. However, this only works if their base is not in the location of your base or other bases in your list.

➣ Secret Pals
Secret Pals are NPC's that have different skills depending on their Trainer type. These skills can range from Hatching Eggs to EV Training. In order to gain a secret pal, you need to visit another player's base via Streetpass/QR code and talk to them, inviting them to become your secret pal. Note: You may only have up to 5 Secret Pals at a given time depending on if you have the decoration "Welcome Mat" in your base.

Here are a list of skills that your Secret Pals can learn:
Builder - Make some goods - Makes a Decoration for your Secret Base.
Nester - Take care of an Egg - Strokes an Egg, reducing the steps needed to hatch an egg.
Masseuse - Massage a Pokémon - Massages your Pokémon, making it friendlier toward you.
Picker-Upper - Pick something up - Finds a useful item for your adventure. - Escape Rope/Ultra Ball/Revive/Rare Candy/Elixir/PP Up/Master Ball
Berry Farmer - Gather Berries - Gives you a berry -Cheri/Chesto/Pecha/Rawst/Aspear/Leppa/Persim/Lum/Sitrus/Liechi/Ganlon/Salac/Petaya/Apicot/Kee/Maranga
Treasure Hunter - Search for Treasure - Finds an item that you can sell for more cash. - Float Stone/Pearl/Big Pearl/Nugget/Rare Bone/Pearl String/Big Nugget/Comet Shard
Stone Searcher - Pick up Stones - Finds an evolutionary stone. - Everstone/Fire Stone/Thunder Stone/Water Stone/Leaf Stone/Sun Stone/Moon Stone/Shiny Stone/Dusk Stone/Dawn Stone
Personal Trainer - Do some training - Raises the level of a Pokémon.
Coach - Do some exercise - Raises base stat for a Pokémon of your choosing.
Fortune-Teller - Tell my fortune - Tells your fortune which effectively triggers an O-Power. - Capture Power/Prize Money/Bargain Power/Full Recovery Power.

In your Secret Base, you can personalize your base with various decorations that makes it completely unique from another player. Keep in mind that there is a set amount of decorations you can put in your base, so choose wisely.
