    We all know how in TV shows/movies/anime, whenever a certain character is about to get in a really, really intense battle, their theme music comes on.
    Sounds familiar, right?

    It's not very intense, but it's one of my favorite Homestuck songs.
    It starts off slow, but then gets faster. Kinda like me in things haha, so that's why it'd be my theme.

    My battle theme? Well, it'd be Wally's themes in ORAS, of course!
    Oh, so you noticed the plural? Good job!
    It'd start off with his overworld theme, the cheery, light version. This is how I'd be at the start of a fight, acting like I didn't care. But then, I'd take "the hit", and my theme would meld into the rock-ballad version you hear when you battle him in Victory Road.

    A dramatic battle, set in the landscape of a dark thundering sky, against someone you've been waiting to fight, and proves to be exactly as menacing as you thought it would. Just one misstep or wrong move, and you can say goodbye to any chance of victory.

    For me, few tracks are quite as foreboding and awe-inspiring as this one. In addition to the introduction, what really sells this track for me is the section between 0.49 and 1.17. I've had it on my playlist for at least a year (though I admit I don't actually count the time), subtitled as 'Theme of Eclipse'.

    ...So I like video game OSTs. Some great tracks have come from them, that much cannot be denied.

    My friends and I have always joked that I will one day find a cure for my insomnia, and on that day I will ascend to the heavens and become the most powerful man to have ever existed. We decided I needed an "ascension" theme. We found this absolutely GLORIOUS soundtrack.

    Well, I mean I am Kuroh after all. Real talk though, this is a more toned down version of the theme, and I think it sounds pretty cool. I can just be all chill while walking into the crowd.

    This would probably be my fight music. It's pretty quick paced, decently intense, and just as short as I'd be trying to make my battle.

    Why be all fancy and draw out a battle when you can be efficient and get to go back to whatever you were doing quicker? To me, this seems like a good theme for an efficient but still epic battle.
