This is the battle Resort. This area contains many things, such as the secondary Day Care, the Battle Maison, Move Tutors, and more. What are your thoughts on this place? What brings you to the Battle Resort? Share with us here!

I love the Battle Resort mainly because of the move tutors and the daycare. It's a really convenient place for breeding Pokémon!

This is a very convenient place to train and breed. There are the numerous mono-type trainers and by walking around to find them, the Pokémon in the daycare gain more EXP! The Battle MAison isn't actually to great,it's under-levelled,it is useful though. The secondary daycare is great and I love the fact that it's ran by kids. If there's one thing that keeps bringing me back to the Battle Resort is this...BOOKER! You find him washed on the shore and you help him to that nice woman's house, then nothing. No missions, nothing! It really annoys me that GameFreak used such a huge character and then just left him at some house! I'm not sure if you have to do something to do things with him,if any of you know if it's even possible to do extra missions with him please PM me! That's why I come to the Resort anyway.

Well, beside the Battle Resort being a blatant Kiloude City carbon copy, I like the fact there's move tutors, and that you can trade BP to learn some very useful moves (like Drain Punch or Knock Off). The extra day-care is nice, and definitely better than the other one imo. Better scenery, and not as much stuff to run into whilst trying to hatch eggs; more free space!

I think the resort has some wonderful features, although a fully featured multi-themed battle frontier would be nice.

The best feature is the daycare, or rather the automatic path around the daycare. The auto-rotating feature of the island allows you to get yourself into a path where you can just hold up or down to move in a constant circle around the island, not having to change directions. You only have to pay half a mind to whether the kid says you have an egg or not. I really like that feature.

The second best feature is the mono-type trainers that @[member="Primal26"] mentioned. I noticed something neat about them, though: when you combine them with the E4 and the Gym Leaders, there is a type specialist for every type in this game. The unfortunate thing is the Gym Leaders are one time only, but ignoring that, the Battle Resort completes the roster in letting you test yourself against a hard (at the right level) monotype team for each type at some point in your game.

I just do breeding at the Battle Resort haha. I'll challenge the daily trainers to level up Pokémon too, but I don't have the competitive 'mons to take on the Maison yet.

They really pumped it full of great resources. From the breeding area to the infinite cycling route to the move tutors (<3), it made competitive battling much easier. The maison was a nice challenge, but it was recycled so I found it sort of boring.

I really like the Battle Resort, I spend a ton of time there! The extra breeding center there is super helpful, the move tutors are amazing, the IV checker is there for convenience's sake for breeding, and the trainers scattered around the island are fun to battle. I do wish the Maison was a bit different from X and Y's, but I don't really challenge it at all, so I can live with it.

I live in this place nowadays since the Battle Resort's Daycare is where I breed my Pokémon. n~n The circular island makes it much easier for me to hatch eggs with how much more reliable the path is than Route 117's Daycare. Otherwise I've tried a lot of Resort battles for BP to teach moves to my Pokémon (aaaand double battle with Steven whee) so this is a fun place to take advantage of. Still need to become the Resort battle champion. Maybe someday? :'D
