What do you think about the Baton Pass strategy? Do you play with it?

Also, Ninjask, Scolipede and Celebi are some of the viable Baton Passers. Do you like them? Which is your favorite? Is there any other Baton Passer that you like?

Personally I think that the last months Baton Pass has become one of the lesser viable strategies because they are predictable and easily countered by good players. i can say that I run Baton Pass sometimes in Low Ladder or against not really good players. But, in my opinion, Baton Pass is not too good.

Meh. I rarely ever use Baton Pass. I have it on my Specs Sylveon just to have the switch initiative.

Smeargle is a good Baton Passer, being able to get things like Geomancy, Shell Smash, Cotton Guard etc. that others could only dream of. Of course, I'm starting to like Celebi more and more.

Although I personally don't use Baton Pass often on my teams outside of Ubers, I use it all the time in my User teams. It's always a smart tactic to be able to build up a lot of stat boosts on a Pokémon that can do a good job at being a stall, and then being able to give those boosts to a team member who can use them to their advantage the most.

I dont use baton pass much because for some risky reasons but

It's been nerfed a lot over the years. Gen IV was my favorite gen to use a Baton Pass strategy. Any gen after that, didn't care for it too much. There's just too many counters nowadays.

baton pass is a quick set up!
I think that scoli is the best baton passer since it can hit hard too!
Really nice strategy by my opinion!

    Baton Pass=Literally cancer

Remember the good 'ol days when 6 Baton Passers was legal? Now we're only limited to one, which means we don't have to use Haze Greninja (actually a thing) anymore, but Baton Pass is literally the worst thing ever.

When you get Perish Song onto a Baton Passer though, things get pretty fun. xD
