Best Box Art Design?

I think I would say the Japanese Version of Diamond Box art has a clearer background. I like the black and blue it so close to Pokémon Black 2.​

I'm saying SoulSilver's has the best box art. Lugia looks stunning on the box. I really like how the background implements part of Jhoto's most noticeable landmarks. I really like how simple and elegant it is.

It hasnt been released yet but i love the design of omega ruby. Primal groudon just looks so sexy.

If im allowed to choose another one, it would be Pokémon x. Its simple but i find it really appealing to my eyes.

I agree. I also like how HG and SS box art placed side-by-side looks kind of like a Ying and Yang (Ho-Oh faces right).

 

I've always loved the Platinum box cover. I love the way Giratina just seems to jump out at you, and the simple, use of the straight lines really appeals to me. I may be biased about anything relating to platinum though. XD Oh! The PMD Blue and Red box covers where really cool.

 

Explorers of Sky wins it for me.

 

Oh yeah, EoS definitely has great boxart.

HGSS and ORAS do as well, but I like EoS's better. The colors are nice. <3

 

Explorers of Sky has amazing box art..! Though I think I prefer HeartGold because it's sleek and gold, which I'm quite biased towards. X and Y had breathtaking art as well (insert indecisiveness here).

 

The box art of the Mystery Dungeon games are definitely something really special, so they're probably my favorite ones

 

HeartGold and SoulSilver. Awesome art, but also a really great box that came with them. I'm hoping OR/AS will get something as special as they did.

 

I really like Platinum, but something about the BW2 boxart is awesome as well. The simplistic designs accented by the colors of the Kyurem forms really made the box designs pop, in my opinion.

I also like HeartGold and SoulSilver. I remember seeing them in the game store before I even played Pokémon, and I thought they looked amazing! They had shiny covers and I love how bright the colors are. They really stand out. I think I prefer HeartGold because I love Ho-oh and yellow/gold colors.

 

Yep, PMD box art is brilliant, because they give off vibes of teamwork and epic adventure. However, my favorite boxart design would have to be Omega Ruby. Groudon just looks sooo epic in the picture!

 

I also really like the Explorers of Sky, but I think Pokémon X Gale of Darkness takes it.

 

Of the main series - I actually really liked X & Y's box art, they were totally gorgeous.

Mystery Dungeon had some really cute box art, though, yeah

 

I forgot about X and Ys boxart, but I remember looking at it and thinking" now that's some magniflorious Boxart!"

I totally agree that it has some amazing boxart.
