Best Pokemon version!

I would have to say I like heartgold as well.

 

I loved Soulsilver (so that's Heartgold but less yellow) because I only played Crystal prior. I got to choose the same starter I accidentally chose back in Crystal and I got to see my old rival Alex re-appear to pick his trademark Typhlosion.

 

Still fond memories of Pokémon Ruby... but SoulSilver is also great. The Pokémon following you adds a new roleplaying dimension to the franchise.

 

I really enjoyed the 3rd Generation as a whole, but I have to say White 2. I loved all of the Pokémon you could catch, as well as all the different things you could do besides the main storyline (White Treehollow/Black Tower, PokéStar Studios, Join Avenue, the PWT, etc). Plus, the rewards you get for completing the Pokédex actually make me want to complete it. EV-training is so much easier thanks to Join Avenue, as well, so I actually have a decent team for once. not to mention White Kyurem is a beast

 

I'm not sure; it's a battle among Colosseum, Emerald and Heartgold. Emerald was a game I spent a lot of time on, and I always enjoyed Hoenn region the most. Colo was a fresh breath in the franchise, plus my first console Pokémon game since I didn't have a N64, and the entire change of mood for Pokémon made me enjoy it that much more. I wasn't just some kid, but an EX-member of an "evil" team. I wish Pokémon would have more of this, and hopefully they'd fix Jumpluff's square shadow. Heartgold I really enjoyed because of any Pokémon being able to follow me, and since I never the second gen games, it allowed me to partake in a part of Pokémon I haven't before, unlike Emerald where I had Saph, and Colo which is just its own thing. White2 has so much stuff to do, I don't think I'm going to get it all done by gen 6, but it's nice how it's not just "battle 8 gyms stop team plasma beat up the champion", it's that and a lot more incentive to do everything else.

 

Well the old Gold version has the most fond memories for me, but I have to go with Black2 these days I think. Great features available, tons of Pokémon to catch, solid post game, it really felt like a complete Pokémon game to me.

 

3rd gen is my favorite! but I got to say I enjoyed Heart Gold the most!! So I guess Heart Gold is my favorite game! but if in the future they make a 3rd gen remake thats probably gonna be my new fav!!

 

Definitely Emerald.

And on that note, they need to make a 3rd generation DS remake

 

I can't pick a favorite :/ Each game has something about it that makes it special and in the end it's impossible to choose a favorite.
