Better Late than Never?

I absolutely hate being late, especially for classes at school. Since you know, punishments and all haha. Otherwise I don't really care, I just try not to be late.

I don't mind other people being late as long as it doesn't negatively impact me personally.

 

I personally believe, better early than late, but better late than never. Odd phrase for a procrastinator (at least first part).

 

I usually don't miss deadlines, especially for homework because of the fact that I'm so scared of disappointment from my teachers, family and myself. I like to think that it's better to be five minutes earlier rather than five minutes late. I've not once been tardy to any of my classes this entire year (although, I have been absent four times)! It does irritate me when people are late. I mean, you know exactly what time class starts. It's not like we're just barely beginning our high school careers! And even if I miss breakfast, I still make on-time. That's not easy because I don't live close to my school at all. So many other kids live sooo much closer to school than I do, yet they're always late to first period.

 

I'm the most punctual person you'll met - I always plan things out so I arrive at least 20 minutes early incase something happens. That and I feel a lot better just getting somewhere, class especially, when there are few others around. Awkward to walk into a classroom with most people already sitting at their desks. Early arrival or no-go.

 

Unless it's homework, I'm good at being on time and sometimes I'll show up like 30 minutes early (usually it's more around 10 minutes)

 

Definitely better late than never, but i always try to be early just to be prepared

 

When others are late, they hear about it from me. I am very punctual myself, and if not, then I'm always early. There needs to be a very legitimate excuse for the person to be late, otherwise I just label them "irresponsible" in my mind, and probably for the rest of all eternity.

 

I tend to stray on the late side of the spectrum when I have to get up the motivation to go somewhere that's out of my routine. Like for classes and things I know I need to get to though, I'll arrive early. Homework is usually done on the very late end before the deadline though.

 

I absolutely hate being late! I always hate having the other person wait for me when I couldn't make it to the scheduled timing. However when they are late, I do not mind so much if they are close friends of mine and gave one a leeway for an hour but he wasn't picking up or responding so I left. Turned out there was a family emergency but he managed to see me later in the day.

I'd definitely arrive earlier than the scheduled time so that I am definitely not late

If I go somewhere for the first time, or it's something really official, I make absolutely sure that there's no way I can get too late. That's just something I think is really important, people count on you so you have to come in time. However, when the situation is less serious or I'm more comfortable with the people, I can be a little bit late from time to time. I know that's not a good thing, but I still do it :/

 

I usually try to arrive on time, but sometimes I just can't wake myself up and it sucks. When I went to school though I would go every morning on time.

 

I'm usually on time! So if I'm ever late it's usually forgiven, though I so still get angry with myself when I am lol.

 

I hate arriving late, so I always make sure I'm early.

 

I absolutely cannot stand arriving late, so I'm always on time for everything. Being punctual is a great life skill

 

To be early is on time. To be on time is late. And to be late...

I've always stuck by this, there are times I am 30 minutes early for classes, and 20 minutes early for social events. It makes you look more professional.

 

I'm very paranoid about getting to places on time. I can't stand the thought of being late or anything like that, and if I am, I just feel so guilty.

 

I'm always perfectly on time for every event I go to. If they want me there at 5 PM, I'm there at 5 PM; not 4:59, not 5:01, but 5 PM on the dot. My motto: There's no such thing as being early. Either you're on time or you're late.

 

I try my best not to be late but when it comes to repetitve really early morning stuff I can get lax with it. Waking up at 5 every morning gets tedious after a while, especially if I end up getting in late.
For the most part I'll end up being earlier than I need to be. Quite often I'll end up being at college an hour before the class actually starts;; It's a nice opportunity to sit and draw quietly before everyone crowds in though, not that big of a problem
