If you’ve played either (or both), which do you prefer? I prefer Birthrights, and I’m a bit biased since I played it first, but I enjoy the overall aesthetic and how much easier it is than Conquest. Also I love Ryoma :^) What about you?
CONQUEST! I love the Nohrian siblings so much and I feel they have more development and personality. I also like the added challenge. LEO AS BEST HUSBANDO.
I liked Birthright just a little bit more. Both were fantastic, but discovering the truth and having to fight the family that raised you is difficult. It has more feeling to it, imo.
Easily Conquest. Birthright is perhaps the worst Fire Emblem title I have ever played - it's a mindlessly simplistic grindfest with the most unappealing bunch of stereotypical traditional Japanese characters in recent memory. Conquest has a story mired in grey morality, an interesting cast, and varied objectives on its maps that actively discourage grinding and force you to use strategy to push through, not just grind to win like you do in Birthright. ...and god, do I hate Takumi something awful.
Eh, I like the story of Conquest but I liked the characters of Birthright, so I'll just make it easy and just do Revelation, not that it makes any sense storywise, I just like the support conversations between the Nohr and Hoshidian families, they are so interesting, imo.
