    Bisharp @ Leftovers
    Ability: Defiant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Swords Dance
    - Iron Head
    - Knock Off
    - Sucker Punch

This is the set that I'm currently using and it's pretty awesome. It comes in on lando-t for the attack boost, it annoys Pokémon with knock off, and it SD allows for the easy set up and kill. Oh, and it kills fairies like nothing. I like lefties over life orb so it survives longer. Bisharp, overall, is good for this metagame.

What are your thoughts on Bisharp? Any suggestions(if you have a suggestion, please post it instead of critiquing my set) that need to be mentioned? Post 'em here.

Removing Swords Dance and adding Low Kick, is so amazing too, giving =ko to T-tar is funny xD

You forgot pursuit, one of the main things about Bisharp is that you can let it pursuit trap or let them switch but use swords dance, I'm sure this set works great the way it is, but pursuit is used too

That is a good point, but I guess I did not make myself clear in the original post. My set isn't the standard set for the OU metagame. This is just a set that I like using. If you would like to mention your own set, please feel free to mention it. And for my purposes, pursuit is not necessary. But thanks for pointing that out, I hope I've made the purpose of this thread clear.

    Bisharp @ Life Orb
    Ability: Defiant
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Low Kick
    - Iron Head
    - Knock Off
    - Sucker Punch

Actually, for a Low kick variant, you want Jolly to outspeed other Bisharp. You also forgot an (important) 4 EVs. xD

Sharing your set in a competitive discussion makes this happen, after all, the discussion starts when you say something and another person things that there is something better or with another kind of effectiveness. It also depends on what your team is needing or if you want to build something around the Pokémon/set that you are sharing. A discussion has a goal, share knowledge and try to get something from the other's knowledge to improve as player and relate/know/talk with different persons that may have a different or similar opinion.
That is why we are sharing our ideas, sets, preferences, etc.

Not sure if you agree with me or not, but I understand this point. the point that I was trying to express, however, was that you can share your suggestions and ideas for Bisharp, but not dissecting my set and critiquing it. For my purposes, that set has been working well on a certain team, but obviously it won't have the same success on a different team. Bisharp is a pretty versatile Pokémon anyway, and you have to try out certain movesets, ev spreads, and items on a team to see what fits the best. Again, I appreciate the advice in the thread, but I kinda knew that stuff already, I just want this to be a community discussion, not a discussion focused on my set (I know im saying this again and again but this is the point i want to make).

    Thanks for the catch haha.

I use protect instead of low kick/swords dance, but spammernoob's set
and yours can work nice too.

Ah, Bisharp. Bisharp is one of my favorite Pokémon to use competitively by far.
The set I use is this:
    Bisharp @ BlackGlasses
    Ability: Defiant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    Jolly nature
    - Knock Off
    - Sucker Punch
    - Iron Head
    - Swords Dance
This is the set I've had the most success with; it's fast, versatile, and completely ruthless at +1 or +2. Here are the simple reasons for the slight variations:
4 Def EVs instead of 4 HP EVs to take less Stealth Rock damage. Hey, every bit counts.
BlackGlasses instead of Life Orb so you can attack to your heart's content without worrying of killing yourself in the process. The option of BlackGlasses over Life Orb is due to burns being ever present everywhere.
Jolly over Adamant to outspeed threats like speedy Mega Mawile, Azumarill, Breloom, and even Gliscor. The attack drop isn't as noticeable when you comfortably Swords Dance or switch into Intimidate or Sticky Web.
Knock Off over Pursuit/Low Kick/Low Sweep because items are often more pesky than speed or needing extra coverage. Fighting type moves are pretty common for Pokémon to learn. ;)
