It has been 90 years since the rise of Ganon, when the hero fell and the princess caged the beast. But out beyond the fields of Hyrule, monsters roam and the people have survived, for now... This is their story.

This RP shows Hyrule from the view of NPCs, how they live their lives and how they survive in this harsh world. We will not be facing Ganon nor any of the blights (That's Link's quest) so feel free to submit villains as well as your character.

Guidelines:
Your character is not infallible and fairies are hard to find in BOTW, so be prepared to take damage.
You can be any of the races you want; Sheikah, Rito, Zora- whatever floats your fancy. You could even be a monster.
Romance is allowed, if both parties agree. Just keep it PG-13.
No godmodding, no OP'd characters. Keep it realistic please.

Spoiler: My character

Name: Aria

Age: 21

Gender: female

Race: Hylian

Appearance: Aria has golden blonde hair, chopped into a messy pixie cut and light brown eyes. Her skin is tanned from being outside all the time and she wears a mishmash of armor and clothes.

Personality: Aria is generally a kind person but she is absolutely a ruthless warrior and will make sure she does everything she can do survive. Being raised on her forefather’s stories, Aria wrestles with the sense of tainting their honor in her bid for survival. Especially since the code of the Knights of Hyrule was pushed onto her a child by both her grandfather and father.

Preferred Weapon: Soldier's Sword and a Knight’s halberd for mounted combat.

Backstory: Aria was born and raised in Hateno on her grandfather’s stories of the Fall of Hyrule and on her forefathers’ courage as they died at Hyrule Castle. Aria learned the blade to honor her ancestors but with a lack of ruling monarchy, Aria began to travel the land instead of pursing knighthood, often escorting other adventurers between stables.
As a child, she got lost when her family was travelling to pay their respects to the fallen in akkala and came face to face with a lynel. She doesn't remember much of the encounter but remains deathly afraid-healthily aware as she calls it- of Lynels.

Other: Aria has a blue roan nicknamed “blueberry” and she also has a fondness for mushrooms.

Spoiler: My villain

Name: Hikaru

Age: 27

Race: Yiga (from the Sheikah)
Apperence: Like the sheikah, she has white hair, tied back into a half up do and tanned skin. Her eyes are a dark brown, almost black.

Personality: Hikaru is a quiet person and very focused on what she puts her mind to. She is also very vindictive and will stop at nothing to see vengeance meted out for any supposed slight.

Preferred Weapon: Windcleaver

Backstory: Hikaru is a yiga blademaster from a line of yiga assassins that can be traced (fairly dubiously) to the sheikah of 10,000 years ago. As such, she held a high position in her clan- and was Majora's former partner until he went rogue and killed everyone. Including her lover. Hikaru survived due to sheer luck and swore a blood feud against him for the murder of her family. Hikaru is determined to make him pay for his actions by his blood.

Other: Despite her calm exterior, Hikaru is prone to bursts of irrationality. She also used to have long hair but cut it off when she vowed to kill Majora.
