Can someone explain me what's with this "color" fight in the Pokemon Fandom?

Some dress that apparently looks different colours to some people. I think it's blue and black.

 

Ah, this. Well, they're not actually talking about Pokémon Black, White, Blue or Gold. In the image you'll find in this link, there will be a dress. "Wow, so what, a dress", right? Not really. The dress in the middle is the original picture. There are two sides to this: some people see the dress as Black and Blue, which is seen on the right. Others see it ass White and Gold, seen on the left. In reality, it is Black and Blue. This video gives an explanation on how this illusion works. In the end, it's all just a bit of a joke. I found it interesting how some people see different colors from the same picture. Personally, I see White and Gold.

 

Basically, Tsutome above nailed it. Though, it's kind of funny, because the entire internet has gone out and shown what colors they see. Even some celebrities (Taylor Swift, Kanye West, J have tweeted about it. Two kids at my school almost started fighting over it.

This dress basically started a war.

I saw both, White and Gold and Blue and Black. I did this by tilting the screen of my phone, and it worked~

I still believe it's white and gold, although I know it's Blue and Black. I'm too stubborn.
