Castlevania Discussion

I played soooo much Castlevania that it is ridiculous. I could say the very few that I played, I don't think I'll see me play them, but the more recent one that I played, finished, AND LOVED SO MUCH, was Symphony of the Night. You get to play as Alucard and it was a very interesting play to go through, it was a great length of play, and it wasn't extremely difficult. I could play SoTH over and over again if I could.

The first Castlevania I played was for the N64 and that one was also pretty legit too, it was very correct towards the Dracula books from Bram Stroker and overall was a nice touch. I wish I could play Legacy of the Night with Cornell but sometimes it just can't happen, you know?

I also played the Lords of Shadow series, and they weren't that bad, it was really different towards the Castlevania series, having the main character Gabriel go through ordeals just to revive his beloved one, only to be told that he cannot and becomes Dracul himself (Dracula). And then have Gabriel in Lords of Shadow 2 was a bit sketchy having him in more modern times... I prefered the LoS2 because of the more freedom with the camera and combos you could unlock over LoS1, but I can't complain. It was a weird series and overall was fun to play to kill time.

 

I played Castlevania on a Game Boy Advance emulator when I was almost a child. After that I fell in love with it. Favorite Bosses, I would avoid this question since I played the game a lot of times and my opinion always changed, so I am not the correct one to answer this haha xD

 

I've always wanted the effort to finish most of my Castlevania games. Now there just there, as there's always so much video games that I'm playing.
My favorite charterers in the series are Soma Cruz, and Dracula~
