Catching Lugia/Ho-oh in HG/SS

Not really I found it a fun challenge to catch both Ho-Oh and Lugia in Heart Gold but Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave. That one I had no choice but to use the Master Ball

 

I caught Ho-oh just the other day in Heart Gold, I didn't find it too challenging. It was of a higher level than my highest Pokémon at the time, knocked out two of my Pokémon as I weakened it and threw some balls, but I ended up catching it on around the 6th or7th Ultraball. Overall not bad, about what I would expect from a legendary.

 

I ran out of potions to heal up my last Pokémon and was forced to use my masterball

 

I usually don't find legendaries like Ho-oh too difficult to catch. Sometimes they give me trouble, but most of the time I get them pretty quickly. I save in front of a legendary and reset if I run out of balls of Pokémon. Probably the wuss way to do it, but it works.

 

In all honesty, I didn't even try battling Lugia. I just threw the Master Ball out right away. So no. I didn't find it hard at all... xD

 

I caught Lugia with my Master ball because i was lazy. It was late at night and i only had 3 ultra balls so i just tossed the master ball,saved and went to sleep
