    Hi people :)

Lately, I've been trying to get shinies. In X and Y I seem to get shinies easily, but i platinum the chain just keeps breaking. I have two questions about this actually:

    - Is it hard for others as well to get their chain to 40 in platinum, or am I the only one?
    - Is it easier to chain in diamond/pearl or in platinum?

For me, the most important question of the ones listed above, is the second one. Because i really want to know if I should chian in platinum, or in diamond/pearl. Otherwise, it'll be way harder if I chain in the game in which it's harder to chain in.

    Thank you in advance :)

I think the chain does become more difficult to keep going the higher it becomes. I don't know much about shiny chaining but I have found a useful video when I was interested in chaining shiny Pokémon. The lady's voice might be a bit irritating but she explains how to chain and the logistics of chaining thoroughly:

i know how to chain, lol. but thank you for the video anyway :)
the real problem is that the chain breaks like everytime and i wonder if it's easier to chain in diamond/pearl or platinum.

    thanks for your help :)

I had a very easy time chaining in Platinum actually. I got to 40 all the time and got a handful of shiny Pokémon from it. I haven't tried it in X/Y yet.

Chaining frustrates me so, I could never get it when I tried. You're not the only one! That's why I never have any shinies. :)

I don't see how the difficulty would be different in either game.

I chain all the time in Diamond, and it is very frustrating, I feel you children there. The highest I've ever gotten to is twelve. :|
