Past-tense, maybe. I got accolades from when I used to do sprint racing. That's well in the past now, though, and I haven't competed in any races outside of two marathons since I broke my left hand a little over ten years ago.

Respectable for sure. The attitude of some kids today is simply appalling to witness. Good job, technology.

:: Some people believe that "ignorance can be fixed, but stupid is forever". Similarly, what are things that you believe can be remedied, versus others that are more deeply ingrained in a person?

:: Do you like to hold on to old things, or get rid of them in some way?

:: Have you ever seen a nuclear submarine?

This is...a tough question for me, as I have been thinking on certain matters recently that have really been boiling my blood. For something that can be remedied, I would like to abolish this doom and gloom type atmosphere that seems to prevail when...certain news has been passed on. To explain this better, I'd like to touch on a personal matter; my uncle got informed by a specialist recently that his just-turned-three-years-old son may be...autistic. Now, we've no idea yet how severe his condition is, but putting that aside for a moment, it's my uncle's attitude that peeved me off. Now I understand as a parent it must be tough to swallow that your beloved child may need medical aid, but he made it out to be like the entire world was crashing down on him ; like it was this huge burden that his son, whom in my eyes is as normal as any babbling, bubbly three year old, wasn't 'normal.' -- All because a 'specialist' said he's 'showing signs.' *sigh*

As for what can't be changed, I'd like to say...stereotypes. Yes, there are people in my family who are prone to saying...not so nice things about foreigners, to the extent that I'm getting given out to for the type of company I choose to keep. It's sickening, and gross. I know one should be naturally cautious towards...outsiders, but even this is going to extremes.

I apologise if I've picked your question up incorrectly.

    **

Oh man, I am a massive hoarder of old things. I've got PS1 games stacked by my bed still, as well as huge things like a large Blue Eyes Shining Dragon figure on display in a corner of my room. I'd tell ya, if you strolled in here right now, you'd see a mix of new and old things for sure.

I...have, actually! Well, it had nuclear armaments, at least. I saw the USS Growler docked next to the USS Intrepid. I had the chance to board it too but decided to go see the prototype space shuttle Enterprise and a concord jet instead. Had to laugh, too; where else in the world would you see a submarine, a air carrier, a space shuttle and a concord jet all within walking distance?

Yup, sure am! My all-time favourite comic is Uncanny X-Force, written by Rick Remender. The first 20 issues or so are comprised of self-contained stories that are amazing to read. Other than that, they do seem mostly the same to me, especially with Marvel in recent years though a few gems manage to slip through now and again (I really liked reading 2014's Deadpool Vs. X-Force limited series). I also like the Doctor Who comics that are published by Panini here, especially the ones containing the 8th, 11th and 12th Doctors, as well as Fable and Saga. I would like to look at comics published by Image and Dark Horse sometime in the near future.

I wouldn't like to be a leader, nor do I wish to follow anyone. So I'm guess I'm stuck in that proverbial 'grey' area? Though I can lead if need be.

Aim at the sky and flex your hand 1,000 different ways, see if that works.
Yeee it's da kewl speyderman with th' guns 'n' katanas.

About as much as I like gaming and programming, I guess. Like, I'm the not the sort who would be buying comics week-in, week-out, but I do like delving into older stuff. I'm grateful that comixolgy is a thing because when I do decide to buy some comics, anything that's in the shop here is always behind America by at least a year or so.

Definitely! The power of the writer's discretion is a terrifying beast.

:: What is your favourite franchise (of any kind)?

:: Is there something you're physically capable of that you have some small pride in? (Even something like 'double-jointed somewhere' would count.)

:: Are you enthralled by small beeping noises?

Tie between the big three PS2 exclusive platformer games (Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper) and Marvel's X-Force. I simply can't decide!

I can 'twitch' my nose like a rabbit? Like I can hear the bridge of my nose 'crack' everytime I do it?

I dislike sustained beeping noises in general to be honest. Like there's this beep noise that affects the front seat of my mom's car; it's a seatbelt sensor but it's been playing up for some time, meaning it'd beep even if buckled. Same goes for house alarms that trigger during the night. If I hear one go off I'm gonna have a tough time sleeping. There was actually a really bad thunderstorm here a few weeks ago that set off at least three house alarms. So that was fun!

    :: Staples or paper clips?

:: Do you have a 'signature' trait (i.e. an aspect that sets something apart as being 'truly you', distinguishing what you do/who you are from everything/everyone else)? Examples could be verbal tics, sign-off messages, a username pattern, an artist's signature/style, and so on.

:: Okay, I've heard that the Ratchet & Clank PS4 remake is amazing, from a few different sources. How accurate is that statement, do you feel?

Paper clips. Primarily because there's never any staples in the stapler guns we have in the house.

'haha' seems to be a verbal tic I've developed in recent months. other than that, I guess my knack for writing and versatility in dealing with the cards I've been dealt in life as it were might stand out in the grand scheme of things, too.

If I'm going to be honest, having also seen the tie-in movie too; I'm tornnn. For brand new fans, you've been spoilt a lot, as it's a great jumping on point for folk who've never picked up a r & c game in their lives. The visuals are the besssst in the series to date, and are perhaps in contention for the best graphics in a ps4 game to date. It even plays beat for beat like the original game released back in 2002. But....

On the other hand, it's been tamed down a lot. The new origin story has been 'kidified' to cater to a younger audience. Ratchet and Clank are instant best friends compared to before, and that kinda annoys me. It's also painfully obvious that the game fell into the dismal category of 'game based on movie' despite insisting it would do it's own thing.

So yeah, for new fans, it's great. For old fans like myself, it's a little disheartening. I am very curious to see what comes next.

If a zombie apocalypse were to occur and you ended up on the resistance group of humans, what role would you play?

Do you prefer books with a realistic setting or an unrealistic setting?

    Apple juice or orange juice?

Usually break out the candles if it happens during the night. If we get a power outage during the day, I'd walk around the house or maybe outside to see what's up.

Thankfully where I live creepy critters are few and far between. Though I did see a huuuge spider crawl down the side of my wardrobe the other day. I got white wood wardrobes so seeing this thing appear out of nowhere took me by surprise. Lol.

Usually all the time in the summer! For winter, I trade my hats for scarves, and it's been an age since I last wore a beanie or other wintry hat.

That one IT/comms person, probably. I don't see myself as much of a gun totting person.

Depends on the genre! If it's anything scifi / fantasy related, the more unrealistic the better. If it's something down to earth like a good cop thriller, then realistic would do in that instance.

Ohhhhh. Hmmmm. I love booooth. Maybe orange juice by a smidgen?
