Characters that don't look their age

I refuse to believe that this girl is in fact 16. She is the most KAWWAI THING I EVER LAID EYES ON. HER EYES ARE SO CUTE HER VOICE IS AMAZING AND SHE LOOKS LIKE A CUTE LITTLE GIRL AND SHE LOVES A CAT MAN SARARA I LOVE YOU *shugfles*

 

This may be a simple ans straightforward, typical answer. but, uh... basically all the Pokémon in-game protagonists? Red looks at least 15 or 16. Leaf looks to be 12. Ethan looks 17 or 18, Lyra around 14. I could go on (some of these characters also appeared in the anime).

Also, was totally blown away to find out Brock was 15... he totally looks 20-21.

 

As prior stated, most characters in Pokémon look older than they are. And I didn't even realise that Serara was 16... Maybe unlike Akatsuki she decided not to change her appearance, but she does not look 16 in any way. Also, Yoko Littner does not look 15 in any way... And then compared to Simon who looks younger than 14...

 

When my friends got me into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, they thought Kakyoin would be a good match for me. He looked to be about 20-ish so I considered it. But then I looked his profile up and found out he was 17. Being that I am 21, I really didn't feel comfortable with that. My friends didn't know he was 17 either, LOL. He really doesn't look it at all.

I do like other Jojo's boys, but I've learned to tread lightly, and check their official age on their profiles first. XD

 

What! That can't be! But... I believe you. It's kind of disturbing though, to see a 15 year old BOY be that openly pervy and horndog-ish. I mean it's kind of disturbing to see anyone be that public about his, er, feelings of a certain variety. But maybe it would be even worse if he was 20 and acting like that around a 10 year old boy Ash. *shudder* I'm going to stop thinking about it.

I was re-watching Legend of Korra lately, and there's two that stick out to me: new General Iroh (Zuko's voice), and Tenzin's wife Pema (referring to ages in Book 1). I thought Iroh was maybe in his mid to late 20s, with his voice sounding even younger than that. He's 36 years old! It only made sense to me once I saw the age/scowl lines on his cheeks. Pema I thought was in her mid-40s, but she's 35 years old! And Tenzin is 51 (and still making babies)! Way to go Tenzin! I think it was her (seemingly) graying hair that misled me. (Tenzin was 41 when Pema was 25 and their eldest daughter was born (assuming Jinora is Pema's daughter, which I doubt for other reasons))

On a similar topic, the order of Aang's kids seems confusing to me. I think I read it's Bumi Kaya Tenzin, but they look more like Kaya Tenzin Bumi.

 

Ken Kaneki, one of the main protagonist from Tokyo Ghoul, doesn't really look like his age to me. He's apparently an 18-19 year old college student, but you'd think he was around at least 15 years of old age based on first impressions. Even though I learned of his standing later on in the series, I was still skeptical of his actual age.

 

Maximillion Pegasus from Yu-Gi-Oh is 24, which honestly surprised me! The guy looks to be in his late 30's in my opinion. The thing that made me think he is old is that he's combed through all of Egypt's secret burials and stuff looking for duel monsters, then made the game and it became a huge fortune and success in like 5 years. Like that's a huge accomplishment for a 24 year old.

 

Emi Yusa from Devil is a Part Timer. She's pretty young to be a hero, considering she's 17.

I thought she was a little over 20 because she in her work uniform a lot, but then it was mentioned that she was only about 17 in the human world (or something along those lines ).

 

Levi Ackerman from SnK. He looks like he could be in his 20's, but he's 34!
Even though Hajime Isayama did say that Levi was "surprisingly old" ahaha.

The main characters of Steins;Gate are no older than 18, despite quite a few of them being geniuses, accomplished and published scientists, and a hacker that can crack any firewall. Seeing that they're on their own, no help from anyone, I expected them to be at least in their 20's.

 

I was gonna mention Alucard from Hellsing but I don't know if that's a bit of a cheat since he's immortal, ahah.

 

Honey from Ouran Highschool Host Club looks like he's 5, he's actually 17
Kisa from Sekai ichi Hatsukoi looks like he's 16 or 17,he's actually 30

what is age because I don't even know anymore

 

Papi from Monster Musume. She looks and acts like a child but in reality shes a young adult, its quite funny really, considering some of the things you see her doing
Not sure if this counts but another mention from Monster Musume is Suu, due to her being a slime, she can change her size (and not just size in terms of height) depending on how much water she absorbs, making her look older at times and younger at others, but in reality, I have no Idea how old she actually is

 

I saw this thread, thought of Emi Yusa from The Devil Is a Part-Timer, and then realized I already mentioned her lmfao...
Well, at least my opinion is still the same.

Another one I found was Goldov from Rokka no Yuusha.
Before he was introduced in the anime, one of the characters mentioned he was 16 and was very, very strong.
I kept that in mind, but what I expected was not this:

When he first appeared, I thought it was someone completely irrelevant, but once his name was mentioned my jaw dropped a little.
Considering that Adlet Myer is 18 and looks like that, I thought he'd look much younger.
Actually now that I think about it, Adlet doesn't really look like he's 18 either.
