Hey all! I made this thread because as I was playing Kid Icarus: Uprising, I thought to myself, boy do I wish Dark Pit was shown and mentioned more. He was my favourite character and I really loved him, but I just wish he was shown more. I'm just glad they made him help Pit and made him seem not all bad.

So, are there any characters you wish would be mentioned more in their own games?

On the note of Kid Icarus: Uprising, I agree with you that Dark Pit was a cool character that didn't get shown enough. His character was amazing though. Pandora, do you understand what the opposite of blind... I mean, unwavering loyalty is? Also, Phosphora. She was a really funny character, and her interactions with Pit were really funny. Then after her battle with Pit she only shows up for a brief few seconds afterwards and never shows up again. I really liked her character and I hope that if they ever make a sequel they have more of her in it, AND CRAGALANCHE!!! More Forces of Nature, especially since they sort of dropped the fact that DP joined Viridi in the after events of Kid Icarus Uprising in Smash...

I think that Neku Sakuraba and the rest of the gang from The World Ends With You need more love. Their appearance in KH3D was awesome (and was the only reason I got that, I suck at KH games), but they need another game, or some Smash love... Please Nintendo, show the lovable loner outcast some more love, talk to Square Enix about it!

The question confuses me. What do you mean by 'mentioned more'? Do you mean mentioned more within their own universes? or mentioned more as cameos in other games?

The former would make more sense as it's technically more feasible, but I am not sure exactly what you are trying to ask.

Oops, I meant mentioned more in their own games, I should have been more elaborate on that.

I hope that makes more sense...

    Yes, that makes sense.

Golden Sun: Iodem. This man is the aide to Babi, the ruler of Tolbi, and accompanies the party to the final areas of the game. Despite not being an Adept himself, he is utterly fascinated by the concept, and is always eager to learn more about them. After leading the party to one of the last areas, he simply just waits for their return, then prepares a ship later. I suppose he does get a lot of screen time in substitute for Babi being off-screen due to an illness, but I'm always curious about Iodem's own motivations.

Fire Emblem: Pretty much everyone that isn't the main character. I know that is what support conversations are for, but in terms of the overarching story, they are mentioned little. Granted, support conversations are highly specific and allow a better composite picture, though until Awakening happened, it really wasn't possible to get all of the support conversations in one save file - or very easily (with The Sacred Stones being an exception).

The Legend of Zelda: Farore, the Oracle of Secrets. Seriously, who is she, what is she doing, and how did she get there? To this day I haven't been able to figure it out. She's theoretically unimportant, yet she makes a cameo in The Minish Cap later on, so she must be good for something. Oh, and the Postman. I'd like to find out more about the supposedly invincible demigod of a marathon runner.

Dragon Warrior III: Ortega. I'm really dating myself with this one here, but Ortega is the name of the hero's father, who goes off to fight the Demon Lord Baramos, but does not return. His helmet was found, so a funeral is held in absentia for him at the very start of the game. Your goal is to avenge him. I guess that is the makings of a plot, but when you get near to where your father is supposed to have died, well...there are a lot of unanswered questions. There is one village in particular (Muor) with whom he was very good friends with everyone there, so he wasn't just some warrior on a warpath, either.

I suppose that is all I have for right now. I thought of a few more examples (Ragnar McRyan from Dragon Warrior IV, the vendors from Etrian Odyssey games, and a few other LOZ characters), but I managed to resolve all those within my mind already, enough for it to make sense.
