Bleh. Chores. Or perhaps you like them? Which would you say is the most tedious/disgusting/worst chore? And which would you say is your favorite? I honestly really like washing the dishes. Washing the dirt or food scraps off plates is very satisfying to watch. I like making my bed too because it makes my room look neat and tidy. Taking out the trash is alright too because it only takes a few seconds to do so (despite the huge risk of coming across a cockroach or two in a bin ). I do hate vacuuming and mopping the floor, mostly because the vacuum cleaner and mop I use are getting pretty old and feeble. So what about you guys?
I generally like cleaning, but I did some volunteer work once that involved cleaning a lot of really old and dusty/rusty things that were just disgusting. Not to mention my dust allergies. I usually don't have to worry about it all that much since I clean so often.
I always prefer to keep my space clean. Dusting furniture, doing laundry... but I'm not a fan of washing dishes by hand. Maybe it's because I've been doing it as a part of my job for so long, I've grown sick of it.
I really hate mowing the lawn too. =w= but it needs done (it's part of my lease agreement to keep the grass in order). It's just super tiring. I quite like dusting and such.
Mowing the lawn (and now weed eating as well) are the only chores I've ever done although now mowing is my room and board while I am in college. I actually rather like it to be honest although I don't know if it is because weed eating is much more tiring or I just like the smell of fresh cut grass.
I really enjoy sweeping, and I'll often do it for fun. I also like dusting once in a while, and if my parents won't wash the dishes, I feel like I need to, because I do the best job or something. I really dislike doing laundry though, I just don't have the heart to throw all of my clothes into a whirlpool of wet. I feel like I'll ruin them.
I like cleaning, but I have vacuuming the house. It takes forever and the vacuum cleaner is really hot and it makes me all gross and sweaty. My entire family seems to have this shared dislike toward washing the dishes since there's the risk of water splashing all over the place and nobody wants to pull the plug out of the filthy water.
