Do you decorate a christmas tree at your home? How big? A lot of decorations or few? What colour? Fairy lights?
My family has a seven ft. tall tree. We just use one of those fake trees from the store (when you have a family with ten kids, and we always have puppies and cats running around, having a real tree is not a very good idea). Our decorations are in the middle when it comes to decorations. We put in a lot of pretty lights (usually white and blue), and then decorate it with matching ornaments (Silver and blue...yeah, I'm hoping to think of a new color scheme this year). Because most of us kids are artistically inclined, we make sure that the ornaments aren't too close to each other, and that we spread out the variety that we have so that we don't have blue icicles in one corner, and silver ornaments in another.
We have a tiny tree that sits on an end table. It's prelit and it's a multicolored set of lights. We put minimal decorations on it. Mom let me put on a decoration of my choosing and a friend gave me a decoration she hand made.
We buy a tree (we’re that one family that still does) about 6 foot and we have 2 strings of 300 multicolored lights that go around the tree and many ornaments. And a pretty star for the top.
Not sure if we'll be able to put a tree up this year since the kitchen is being re-painted. All the furniture got moved to the attached livingroom which is where we've historically put up our trees, and it is extremely packed there atm. ): Unless family get the painting and renovating done within the next few weeks haha. But usually we end up with bigger trees that stand probably 7 feet tall or so! And we re-use the same decorations from previous years...though they're slowly disappearing or breaking lol, so we end up with a tree that is less and less decorated each year. oops
My family always goes to a forest get ours. Usually it’s around 6 feet tall and has the same ornaments we’ve been using for years.
