Of course they'll advertise Clarence more as it's an original Cartoon Network show lol
I, personally, like the show. It reminds me of some of the damn weird stuff I thought/did back when I was around the age that he is. It's not my favorite show, by far, but I think it's good. Also, I'm not exactly sure how the troublemaker part is bad.

I haven't watched Clarence so I searched it up and yes, it doesn't look like my thing but you've got to remember that there are cartoons and not real life drama and stuff. Its OK to leave your wallet and dad's phone and all other stuff in a cartoon because that's entertainment. Not real life, then it would be bad.

 

If I'm honest, I hate the show too. I mean, I don't mind the animation or the character designs, to each show their own style y'know? But it's the character Clarence, the main character the whole show's about, isn't exactly a nice person.

The show is meant to convey the joy of childhood, and th freedom it has, and sure it conveys that a little, but that's overshadowed by Clarence's actions. Clarence does a lot of bad things that he gets no comeuppance from. In general, he's conveyed as rather selfish.

I tried to give the show a good try, I really did, but it just turned out maddening to watch. Now, I know, it's just a show, but it's a show directed towards younger ones. And, well, I distinctly remember getting into trouble when I was younger for doing some things I got off the tv cause I thought they were ok. Clarence sends the wrong message to kids about what's right and wrong.

This show had potential, it coulda been a nice fun show, but the fact that the main character himself is a jerk without consequence makes this show already annoying for me personally. I don't blame some people for liking it, but On certainly not one of them.

 

I don't have superpowers, either, but those are in tv shows.

I haven't seen the episodes where he lost the phone, wallet or food, admittedly, though.

 

My cousins are addicted to this show, and to this day, I still don't know why. Is it the fact that they live in a suburban area that they can relate to it, or the weird animation design?

Some of the story plots aren't half bad, so to say, but others are just... bad.

 

Well the art style is too ugly for me to be able to enjoy it, and the episode plots don't interest me either. I don't hate it because I haven't seen enough of it to make that claim, but I can say that it does not appeal to me at all.
