Clash of Colors - Monocolor Tournament

Welcome to the first Monocolor tournament on Lake Valor. Monocolor is similar to Monotype since you're limited to just one color. This will make the teambuilding and battling an unique experience, where you might find yourself liking a Pokémon you never used before or deepening your love towards Pokémon you already like. ​

The rules:​

1. All Pokémon in the team must belong to the same dexcolor group, the groups can be found here. Additionally the following Pokémon are banned​

2. The tournament will be Double Elimination, however, this may change depending on number of participants. ​

3. All battles will be played on Pokémon Showdown! Use either OU or Ubers to battle. Breaking Baton Pass clause intentionally counts as loss of a battle even if you won. ​

4. PM your replays to either [member='Nauris'] or [member='Bionic Puppy']. We will update the result on the bracket.​

5. If you're unable to contact your Opponent, PM either [member='Nauris'] or [member='Bionic Puppy'] and we'll try to help you. ​

6. Being inactive without informing either [member='Nauris'] or [member='Bionic Puppy'] may result in disqualification. ​

7. PM your Final team to either [member='Nauris'] or [member='Bionic Puppy'] before battling. We will also assist you in building your team for free if you feel that you need help with it. ​

8. Post "There is no orange!" with your sign up so that we'll know you have read the rules.​

Both Tornadus forms were banned for the same reason, for almost completely destroying Green with their coverage, which is rather ironic considering they are Green.
As for Scolipede, it was banned for it's SD + 3 Attacks set, which is extremely hard to stop for Green and Pink, capable of OHKOing almost all Pokémon in both Colors at +2, with after some quick calcs, only handful of Pokémon are able reliably avoid OHKO.

The battles will begin on 18.4 , giving you week to build your team and hone your skills in peace. You're to use only one team for the whole tournament, and before you start battling, please send your final team to either me or [member='Bionic Puppy'] ahead of time and wait for our approval of the team, to avoid conflicts with the bans, since they are different from LV OU. You're not required to tell us nor the other participants the color you're going to use for this tournament, as we will be able to tell what color it is when you send the team to us.

Please remember that I and [member='Bionic Puppy'] are willing to help you build your team, and of course, test it too. This is done free of charge as part for signing up for this tournament. We won't share your team, Pokémon, or sets with other players, nor will specifically make counters for them.
