    Almost lost all my hardwork (videos, pictures), luckily, I managed to recover them. Spent 3 hours troubleshooting the Operating System Booting Error... I'm close to giving up, when I said to myself "NEVER GIVE UP!", which I did and praise the Lord! I successfully booted my PC! THANK GOD!!! Let this serve as a lesson for all of us, always back up your files and create a system recovery disc.

    oh man .-.
    I hate that when that happens. When a computer croaks on you, there's nothing worse than the feeling you get when you realize that everything you've done, ends up lost forever. I had to learn that the hard way -n-;;

    But you're very lucky! Good thing you didn't give up c:

    Yeah, it was a very close call. I guess luck is on my side that time.

    I usually remain calm. It's hard for your hard disk to mess up, so even if your computer stops working, your data is still in there. I DO need a back up though...

    Simple cheap thumb drives should be able to hold things like drawings and images and some music, that's all I do to back up and it has served me well for the times I had to reformat. I guess it depends on how much you are backing up.

    External hard drives are a godsend in these types of situations. Since I started using them to back all my crap up, I've only lost a stray project file here and there, but nothing, thank god, major.

    Yet, this as another close call:

    I was suppose to upload another AMV, violin and vocal cover of mine when suddenly my pc was "kicked" by my frigging 10 yr old brother, believe it or not. I almost lost it, good thing I don't give up easily. Opened and fixed the damn thing myself, what a relief! Wooooh.

    I know this day would come, the day of days. My computer refuses to start... damn it. All projects are put into hold until further notice. It wouldn't even boot up into the bios screen! My files... my artworks, my projects... I hope I can get through this. Just, bullsh*t.

    So, I'm back from the dead... And the upgrade looks like it's never gonna happen. Bleh. =P
