We have all had those moments in Pokémon where everything comes down to the wire, and we barely escape the battle. The other day, I was facing a totem Pokémon in Ultra Moon and I was down to my last team member: Zoroark. His quick claw activated and took out the Totem Pokémon with only a few HP left. What is your closest call in Pokémon?
Champion battle in my Moon wonderlocke only had my mvp stoutland left and last mon incieroar crit cross chopped me and left me on 2 hp
I was doing a Omega Ruby Nuzlocke, and I know some have problems with using the Amie buffs, but not me, I think they are part of what the Nuzlocke is about. Long story short I was fighting Steven's Mega Metagross, and my hydregion had nearly finished it off. An attack hit that should have killed him, but he toughed it out, and made it through on 1 HP. Managed to make it so that nobody died on the E4 run.
I have two stories actually, first is in Black (I'm fighting human players in both stories) my opponent had his Ninetales and I had a Hydreigon, but mine had surf as one of its moves and therefore I won. The second one was a fight with another friend and he had Primal Groudon and I had Latios (He had knocked out Mega Rayquaza prior to me sending Latios so he didn't have the Primal Groudon ability) and I used dive so he missed. Groudon survived the first dive and used a move that brought Latios to 1 HP and I used dive again but this time I knocked out Groudon.
Lessee here... Narrowly beating Fantina in Diamond is one of my more memorable ones. My faithful Floatzel Tails came through for me just when I thought all hope was lost.
It's been awhile since I've had a battle that sticks in my mind because it's so close, but I think that most any battle I've had against Whitney was probably a remarkably close call. She always takes me multiple tries to defeat her, so I don't think my eventual victories came by a landslide.
