That sweet, black nectar of the gods. You know it, you love probably have a strong opinion of it, it's coffee! How do you feel about coffee? Love it, hate it, meh it? How do you prefer it best? I am biologically addicted to coffee. If I don't have it, I will have a migraine that day (and if I do have it, there's still a 50/50 chance). And since I drink it so much, I had to find a faster, more affordable, and better tasting way to get my fix than going to the coffee shop once or twice every day: making it myself. No, not the Keurig machine or or the Mr. Coffee drip: I grind whole light-roast in a grinder that may or may not have been stolen from a closing Starbucks, and french press that for anywhere between 1 and 10 hours (most people recommend 3-7 minutes), and then drink that straight black. And it is delicious: I've even gotten tea-drinkers to admit that I make a pretty good cup.
I love me a good mocha every once in a while--frozen or hot, it doesn't matter. The Peppermint Mochas at Christmas are amazing!
I come in peace, representing the Tea Tribe, superior to all other drinks... Seriously, I have no idea how people get addicted to coffee. To me it always tastes like burnt grean beans and that's just unpleasant!! I'm sure you can make a better cup than Starbucks and my dad, my only exposure to coffee, but for now I'll stick to tea.
Coffee is coffee to me. It's not a necessity, but it's welcome as I've heard the caffeine in it is able to block adenosine, the hormone that wakes you up. And with a reserve of adenosine, the crash afterwards is definitely worth it for being able to stay awake for most of the day. And it actually helps me to focus and act "normal" for once. Without it, I just fall asleep without so much a thought, and I'm kind of hyper if I don't get it. So, I like coffee, and I find it important for my social and private life. But in preferences, as your questions ask, I don't care. Mocha or Cappuccino are welcome the most, but I'll drink anything else.
I'm not technically allowed coffee(or too much caffeine in general) with the medication I'm on but it wouldn't matter anyway as I'm not a huge fan of it to begin with! I much prefer chamomile tea! I adore the smell of coffee shops though. So homey and warm.
Weird enough, I have hardly ever tried coffee. I’ve eaten coffee cake and coffee ice cream, but I’ve only drank in once or twice. I have to say I’m pretty meh with it. I don’t hate it, but I do prefer tea a lot better.
I'm only allowed coffee once every three months. I can't take black coffee, either, but one day, I will down an entire mug of black coffee just to see what it's like. Expect that event to be early in the morning.
I personally don't like coffee. No matter how many times I've tried to enjoy coffee, I just can't seem to like coffee. The flavor of it is just bitter no matter mow much sugar people put in it, and I don't really feel any diferent after drinking it. I've always been an early bird, and just a few stretches and a minute walk are enough to get me up in the morning (Ask Tepig and Nic. Those two keep me up in the morning).
I’ve had sips of my mom’s coffee and I don’t like it. I’m not sure as to why people like it. If I need caffeine (which I rarely do) I’d prefer to drink soda (which has a taste I actually like)
Coffee is the true fuel of the airline industry. Sometimes I'll have a cup to help me wake up, especially if my day starts at 40am. I've got a Keurig with an automatic timer set to 4 so that all I have to do is put in a cartridge and it's brewed in moments. I'll reuse it once, albeit the second cup won't be as strong. I usually go half-half and some sugar. I'm personally not much of a fan of Starbucks...but Seattle's Best is pretty good. I'm usually a no frills person who goes for a medium size plus cream & sugar. And maybe I'll get a pastry/doughnut to go with it.
Not a fan. Recently drank it some months ago after not doing so in years and it made me so jittery, to the point where I barely got through the day at work orz. Doesn't seem to mix well with my anxiety relaxants.
I don't really care for nor do I particularly like it so I don't touch it at all. I also don't wanna risk it messing with my anxiety as caffeine can make anxiety worse. Yeah I no you can get decaf but let's be real I probably still won't like it as bitter things is generally not for me.
How dare you heathens sully the purity of water! I come baring the flag of freedom of all of those who taint their cups with the ink of darkness. Seriously though, I don't drink coffee. I'm the kind of guy who drinks only water. I'm an early bird and the thing that gets me up in the morning is my stubbornness to keep to a schedule. I had coffee once before a long time ago, and I didn't really like it (even with cream and sugar). Water is the way to go for me.
I love iced coffee. Especially if it has some sugar and vanilla. Without sweetener, the bitterness is too overwhelming.
I like to buy cartons of iced coffee, the flavor depends on what sounds good at the time, and then have like a small glass of it per day as long as there's still some left. I don't need the caffeine too much, I think it's just the taste that I'm into right now. Though I'm still not interested at all in trying actual, non-iced coffee. If I want a hot caffeinated drink I'll just reach into my tea supply.
