College

I am currently in university, and there is never a dull moment. Be it either class time or spare time, nearly every possible minute of my day is spent doing something. This could be simply how I choose to run my life, constantly in some activity. At some times I like keeping busy, but at others, it feels almost too busy - especially when exams come around. Then, I end up having to juggle my time between, at minimum, 3 things (school, tutoring, and spare/social).

Then again, I'm fairly certain that all of our lives are like that to a degree - what differs are the proportions each of us have and must devote to them.

 

I'm going to BYU-I studying English education, because I'd apparently rather try to teach kids, instead of making money. College is an interesting experience though, trying to balance class and homework and not going crazy. I do pretty good for a while and then suddenly I have friends and spend too much (Is that even possible) time with them. Then I have to work in my off track, trying to sub enough to afford the next year. It's an adventure though.

 

Darn, I was thinking of making a school thread the other day. Might make it on school memories instead!

Eyyyy. Buckin' around in third year of a Bachelor degree in Software Development. o7 Really liking my subjects this year, but it's nearly been a month back and things are still chaotic in there with timetables and stuff. Just got handed the spec. for a major team project I gotta complete by February of next year. I'm a tad suspicious because it seems a bit too simple; develop a system for a fictitious small hotel company. Considering other teams had to develop systems for a manufacturing plant or else a GP practice, in addition to one of the guys on my team apparently being good friends with a guy working in a hotel, we ain't doing too bad, haha.

I gotta agree that there really is never a dull moment at third level education. Just today some random guy walking past our room blurts out "I can't even!" and dramatically throws rubbish into a bin that was keeping the door open. On other occasions, we somehow went from talking about routers to assassins, nuclear warheads and casually being electrocuted!

 

I'm still a senior in high school. I'm probably in the minority here in that I'm not planning on going to college xD
The career I want only takes a high school diploma, so I don't see much of a point to going.

 

BYU! I'M GOING TO RUIN YOU ON SATURDAY!!!!!
Yeah I'm going to the university of Michigan, and for those who do not know, we play BYU in football on Saturday. I'm gonna be there around row 50, and its gonna be great.

Anyhow, I am finding out that college is indeed very busy. Its great, I enjoy it, but it is very busy. I'm in this shindig for something with engineering, my first year here.

 

Well I am in the english version of college. I'm doing my Level 2 Certificate in Childcare. Next year I hope to do my Level 3 Certificate/Diploma with EYE status, this means I can work unsupervised in an early years setting
