When y'all first sketch and plan your art out, do you use a specific color or just use plain black? This can go for traditional artists too! I know a few people who sketch in blue or red pencil ( I actually find sketching in colored pencil traditionally very interesting). I typically use red when I sketch my digital art. If there's more than one character in the drawing I'll use different colors to differentiate them.
My go-to sketch colour is navy blue. I don't have any real reason for that colour in particular, it's just a bit softer on the eyes than black.
I usually just use black lmao, I guess I forget that I can use other colors. Also traditionally I prefer to use a lead pencil so black it is too.
I sketch with red as my preferred color. Unless I have more than one character, then I use different colors
i just usually sketch in black, even if there are 2+ characters! the only time ill ever do different colors is when i need to differentiate them and usually its only for more chaotic posing so it might not even be the whole thing that gets a color sketch. sometimes ill only do the hands, hair, ectectect
I just use black and greyscale coloring because me and colored pencils do not really fit me. Or it's just the kinds I use and how I use them.
