Colosseum/XD Characters in Pokemon Resonance?

I've been thinking of ways I could have Zero prevail without Kalea and her Pokémon or his Riolu, Rio, and his Buizel, River, in a later chapter. This is what I came up with: Wes and Michael from the Game Cube games appearing in Pokémon Resonance as members of the International Police.

I can't give all the details away as to why, but I am planning chapter(s) based off Pokémon 4 Ever when they get to Ilex Forest. As such, there will be an appearence by the movie villain, Iron Mask Murauder. Taking Team Rocket's place will be another Pokémon Hunter previously introduced named Charlemagne. Naturally the MC, Zero, will be taking Ash's place. As for who will take Samual Oak's place... Well I have someone in mind from another fanfic, but until I get a responce from that story's author, it's pretty up in the air.

Of course Zero and the one I picked won't be enough to stand up to Iron Mask or Charlemagne, at least not without Rio, River, and Kalea, which is why I thought about bringing in the Protags of the Game Cube.
