We've all had them. Computer problems, both physical and within the systems we know and use daily. When faced with an error, virus or anything malfunctioning in your precious PC, how do you usually fix it? Manually, by yourself, or do you take it in and pay for repairs? What do you think works better? What do you recommend for others? Let us know in case we run into some issues too!

I kick my computer, is what I would do if I was still 13 years old lmao.
To be honest, I first google the issue, and if I can't find the issues resolution, then i try to find some tech support either going to a store or calling a pro.

I fix it myself every time. My PC I built from parts and personally installed every program on it, so if anyone knows how to fix it, then it's me. Similar for my old laptop, which started dying a few days before its warranty ran out (internal cooling system, it would have been a brick if the costs weren't covered). I've personally replaced almost every part of that machine except the plastic body and the speakers. Everything else has been changed out by me, so I know that thing inside and out too.

I've never taken my computers to a shop, posted a question on a support forum, or given up because it stopped working. Software and hardware, I fix it myself, even if it means replacing a part or formatting an entire hard drive (though it doesn't often come to that). You'll never catch me getting stuck in this guy's situation.

I just take it to my dad or fix it myself. My dad has been working with computers since '83 and can fix most software and programming problems. Other than that I just do maintainance on it every so often and run updates and that fixes most of my problems.
