How do you guys get on the internet? No, fix that. Which device do you use to get on the internet: computer, tablet (iPad), or Smart Phone (iPhone)?

For me, I mostly use my iPad to get on the internet since I use a keyboard set to type down things quickly and it's easier to carry. I do use my iPhone and computer to get on the internet net for either to do work or for checking updates. But, compared to the three devices, I use my iPad the most.

People use devices other than computers to access the Internet?

How old am I? Where did all the time go?

If you had asked me this question last year, I would've probably sided with the laptop camp. Since this summer, though? I've been won over by an android tablet. It's so comfortable to use if all you wanna do is watch videos, play games, surf the net and generally chiiiilll. Ofc I'll always need my laptop for the more intensive computin' jazz, but, android tablets are niiiiice.

I like how easily I can bring my iPad and iPhone around with me and use them to access the internet. However, they're still not as good as when I'm using a laptop. My iPad and iPhone can do the job, but my laptop just feels much smoother for web browsing.

There's also the fact that many sites don't have mobile support and look weird on a smartphone (and on a tablet, sometimes). I also don't like having to use the mobile versions of some sites such as Facebook because they lack the full functionality that you get when you access it using a computer.

I'm just way too used to accessing the internet through computers, way before tablets and smartphones were the "in" thing. So I'd definitely choose the computer on this one.

Laptop, mostly because I don't have a tablet or an iPad of my own. XD But anyway the screen is bigger and it's something I'm more used to, and everything looks better in my opinion.

This. I still use almost exclusively my parts-built desktop for my internet-getting. However, I did just get a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet that I use as a tablet 15% of the time, so maybe that's on the rise for me.

I still have yet to get a smart phone. My phone has buttons on it, wooooOOOOoooo. You kids and your fancy touchyphones. I can actually feel what I'm doing and be more sure than you that I'm not being hacked, for what it's worth.

I primarily use my laptop, but when I'm on the go and need to use the internet I use my I-phone if there is free wifi. If not, I'll still use the internet, but at the cost of using data. Though for the most part at least 90% of my online activity is from my laptop. Its just so easy to use and incredibly user friendly. The screen is touch screen as well so its sort of like a tablet/laptop combined. I can variate between the touch scroll or my wireless mouse depending on what I'm doing and can overall be so much more productive in comparison to using the internet with my smartphone.

Well let's see... I don't own a smartphone or tablet so there's that.
    My primary devices are a Laptop(Upgraded to Win10) and a Chromebook(School-owned)
I like my Chromebook a lot, it's fast and convenient, what a netbook should be, but my PC is more powerful and almost as fast, of course. And there's my gaming to consider...

For me, usually I'm going online by connecting from my laptop and my smartphones as well.

Laptop, I just got mine. Its my dream and it's kinda decent to run some things on it (I play Brave Frontier and PvZ2 on it)
An thing is, I can flip the screen to make it an Tablet, I use it alot but when I go to Lake Valor and do other things, I use the keyboard, because honestly, I suck at typing on touchscreens, and the Keyboard discerns my view on pages alot. However, its very useful when I play PvZ2, and I use the touchscreen to touch things on the screen. ohboy.

I only use my phone (not an iPhone, mind you. Freaking expensive, those little boxes are Dx) to access the Internet if I'm not at home. If I am at home, I use my PC almost exclusively. I prefer the bigger screen and the feeling of actual keys when I type. I tend to make less typos too since I know when I press a key that I've actually pressed a key. XD

I use my laptop the most for going online. I will occasionally use an iPad to look things up but I prefer computers. The touch controls for phones and tablets are pretty meh but keyboards with them would make it better.

I'm usually away from home (I live a ways away from my school), so I mostly use my iPhone to connect to the internet. However, my laptop is certainly preferred, so I'll definitely choose that over anything else when I have the chance. I use my tablet for homework on the go, so that's not exactly used for leisure, but that takes up a bit of my part.

I dont own a tablet, i have to connect my smart phone to access the internet on computer cause now i dont have a broadband system so i go with usb tethering or using my sim card to access and that way is too troublesome so most of the time i use internet through my smartphone. Smartphone is my only option. But with all that trouble i sometimes use my computer also.

I use my smartphone and laptop. However, I'm more of a laptop person because I can have multiple things playing at once and just have it in the background if I need it. A bigger screen is a plus as well.

I'm a poor, deprived child, so I only have my old Windows Vista that hates my guts, and my parents laptop if they ever let me use it (which is never). TBH, I'm perfectly fine with having an older computer, and I have never found the need or want to have a smartphone or tablet. I don't think that I'll ever grow accustomed to using a tablet or smartphone more than a computer, as I find them to be annoying, and the computer to just be a lot more convenient.

For the short amount of time that I did have an ipad, I hated it. Albeit, it was a school issued ipad so some things were restricted, but it was not my cup of tea. I much prefer my laptop that can run youtube w/o me having to actually be in the youtube app.

Well, I usually use my Samsung phone. But when I'm on the school computers I ignore my school work and go onto this. I have a laptop at home, but I have no internet on it so I have to use my phone.

I switch regularly between my two laptops and iPad. (I also sometimes use the Internet on my PS Vita, but game consoles are apparently not included in this discussion, so.) It really depends on where I am, what I want to use the Internet for, and what else I'm doing/want to do. I'll probably be using one of my laptops less now since it's older and doesn't run as well as my other one (which I got literally a few days ago) and iPad, but it still has some things on it I can't yet access on either.
