I usually write my stories on a computer. However, if I'm really nit-picky, I print it out to read it on paper because I notice mistakes better that way. When I'm on the go, I often use my phone to jot down notes, but I should take a notebook in case I have something I want to write out at length.
If it's for something entirely personal like video game notes in my own time, then I always write on paper (I grew up with paper and no computer for a long time so old habits die hard). However, when it's something of importance like uni work, I now do it on google docs because that means it's not only accessible on different computers so you don't leave the wrong copy of your work at home, but it also backs up automatically so I never have to remember to press save before it crashes again! I type pretty fast anyway so.
I usually type out fanfics on my computer or iPad at school, since we're allowed to use those. I like writing on paper for notes. I mean, I write and type pretty fast, so either is okay; the computer just sometimes has more convenience, and it's a little faster than writing a chapter out on a notebook and then having to type it out. As for drawing, I like both the computer/tablet and on paper. I think the tablet is good for drawing because it's easier to get rid of mistakes and color, and I like drawing on paper because I feel like there's just some form of feeling of accomplishment when I finish a drawing on paper. Plus, sometimes computers glitch out and one time I lost a drawing I was doing
I like plotting out my stories on paper as well as brainstorming, but when it comes to drafting I prefer to use the computer. I'm lazy so the idea of having to retype entire chapters doesn't really appeal to me. Plus, it's a lot easier to edit on the computer
