Concerning Porygon

It might be that they simply do't know what to do with it. I agree with you though. I hope Porygon can make it into some episodes i the future, espescially since it was pikachu's fault not porygon's

 

Well...some persosn don't know about Porigon existance, becasue it was seizured in some countries. In Latin America Porigon has never been seen for o much people (I did and other fans possibly too) in the anime. That explain why they cannot open so easily. They can start with the new Porygon but with a little showing, not to much and you must think that some people died or still in a hospital cause their health didn't allow them to survive or resist the Porygon Episode.

I reckon porygon should come back for one episode at least, it'd be nice to see it in the anime

 

That's indeed an interesting thing, and I honestly wouldn't really know why they haven't given it another chance. I understand that they might be a bit scared of bringing Porygon back, but it's not like anyone would be offended by it. I mean, sure, they made a mistake once, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't bring Porygon back at all. If, for example, it would've been a Magnemite instead of a Porygon, would Magnemite have been removed entirely from every anime episode? That would be kind of weird if you think about it...

 

Apparently Japan has that mentality of "if anything bad happened, let's pretend it never did happen and bury all associated things" and sadly Porygon is now associated with that incident.
It's a shame and is really painful for me cause I love Porygon and I think it and its evolutions could give us some cool anime appearances... but it'll never happen. sigh...

I noticed that once a Porygon evolution appeared in the intro of a movie, but that's pretty much it since the original one. It's too bad that something like that had to happen because Porygon is really quite cool.

 

This is pretty messed up to think about honestly. Porygon may never have the chance to shine again, but fair enough considering the circumstances.

 

I would love to see Porygon-Z in the anime, since it's one of my favorite Pokémon of all time. I mean, come on. An alien-like duck?

I never understood why they took him out in the first place since it was Pikachu who caused it in the first place. Either way, he needs a time to shiny. After all, he's so cute!

 

Porygon and its evolutions are some of my favorite Pokémon, so it's a little upsetting that they threw it under the bus because of a single incident that it technically wasn't responsible for (since, as others have said, the seizures were caused by Pikachu). I remember that Porygon-Z was given a really short cameo in the beginning of a movie, but it's a shame that the cyberducks still haven't come back otherwise. I really hope that they do some time in the future, though! Because of how many others in the past have agreed on how unfair it was to ban the three from the anime, I personally wouldn't think there'd be a lot of controversy caused if Porygon and co. were reincluded. Even somebody I know who had suffered some issues from having watched Electric Soldier Porygon really wanted them to return/didn't hold any vendettas against the 'Mons themselves for the incident.
