We all love music. But, we also love the artists who has made the music we love so much. In fact, we would even go to see their performance/concerts when they announce them so we can see them face to face. If your favorite artist was hosting a concert, would you go? How far would you go to see your favorite artist perform? Have you been to any concerts? If so, who did you see?

I am not much of an artist fan. But if there are any artists that I enjoy listening to and they are close by to where I live, I would try to go see them! It would be interesting to see how they do all their songs and what they do differently for the audience. I actually went to a P!nk concert a few years ago. And the way they play and perform for the audience is so much different when they are just creating an album especially when they are willingly to stop and comfort someone; it's so sweet!

Since I listen to music 24 hours a day, every day, I am a huge fan of them. I usually try to find concerts out at the theatre, which is no more than a half hour from where I live. The only concert (unfortunately) I went to was one or two summers ago when I went to see Gavin DeGraw, Train, and The Script all on the same stage. I almost sang along to every single song with the crowd. It was absolutely insane & I'd love to go there again to see another concert sometime in the future.

I've only ever been to one concert in my entire life, and that was the Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions last year.

Needless to say, it was the best experience of my life, and I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have the chance to go.

I've been to two concerts in my short time on this here Earth, and they were probably the best experiences of my life. The first one was an Imagine Dragons one, which was a longtime favorite band of mine! The other one was Train, which while they're not my favorite, it was amazing to go see them live. Both times were absolutely incredible and I'm so glad I was able to go!

When I was younger, my college offered a few concerts for classical music that were open to the public, but free to any students who were attending. As I like classical music, and all college students love free stuff, I figured it would be a nice idea. Of the few venues I attended (read: the few venues I heard about), while I wasn't the only one under 60, it came close however. I believe that's more of the fault of the market or clientele than the fault of the music, though.

I don't think it's something I would care to repeat again, for a few reasons. First, I like to listen to music at my own pace, usually with videos or recordings, mostly because I feel like I'll notice something brief, like a musical joke, and in real time I can't rewind to go double-check to see if it's actually there. The second is the volume aspect; I know I baby myself and listen to almost everything via headphones or close proximity, but the other part of that is that I don't have as good of a sense of hearing as most people - it's not awful, but it's definitely below-average.

The third reason, and what I feel might be the most pertinent, is the people. I don't do well around people I don't know or don't recognise, even if I'm not actually interacting with them. If they're sufficiently spaced out then I really don't have a problem with it; however, I wouldn't be able to handle any venue where the seats would be packed to the brim, as I'm mildly claustrophobic. (It has rarely, if ever, come up in my life, but it crops up quickest in relation to being undesirably close to another person.) I suppose a lot of these reasons are finicky, but if an artist or song is unfamiliar I wouldn't want to just blindly spend money to hear a song I might not like. And if I really like the artist, why not buy an album after the fact? It would be a better way to support the person.

I've attempted to go to a concert, but I didn't enjoy it. You can't hear them, it's hot, there's people, and everything cost so much. I wouldn't see my favorite artist tbh live. They sound better recorded anyway

Do musicals count? If a broadway show goes on tour I'd definitely watch it!

I enjoy concerts! I just went to one for Halsey the other night. I think it's definitely better to get seats than to pool in the middle and stand, as you get crushed. I think if an artist is good live, it really shows that they ARE talented. Like if I saw someone live and they didn't sound good, I dont think I'd listen to them anymore :s

I love to go to concerts. That makes me sound like an emo 14-year-old boy, but I suppose some of the concerts I've been to allows that. I usually like to be in the standing pit; it's the most electric part of the room, and for some artists, I feel like it's the only way you can truly feel the energy of the show. Twenty one pilots, for example, pull stunts like this

during their shows. I've been to two of their live performances, and it's the most enthralling sight you'll ever see. I saw them about a week ago actually, and then Halsey two days later with @[member=Vanillite]. That was another good show, her visuals, energy and voice really made everything worth it.

I can get why concerts aren't for everyone, at least ones like that. There's lots of people pushing, and since the fans are usually younger, (and probably immature) they might do more to get just a little closer to their favorite artists. But I mean, I'm young at sixteen, I have an intense love and appreciation for live music and how it's played (especially in terms of bringing production to a concert, and how they replicate the track's effects in a real-time setting) and I've got money to spend. Why not go to something that'll take me away from all the horror we see in the world for a few hours?

I love concerts. It's not just another way to support an artist you love but they can also create great memories depending on who you go with, who the artist/band is and how good the general show is. I recently saw Jon Bellion and happened to get front row seats and VIP for under about 90 dollars. He's becoming a fairly popular artist and the tickets I got were so cheap. I feel concerts also unify people. This last concert I was at just brought all these people who didn't know each other previously and put them shoulder to shoulder because of an artist or singer. Like I said before the actually show really matters, if you go see and artist who can't perform live then the concert is going to be garbage. I personally really enjoy concerts but as @[member="Cobalt"] mentioned I can definitely see why concerts aren't for everyone. Depending on if there are seats or just an area to stand someones experience can really change. A concert with just a standing area can be really claustrophobic and involve a lot of contact with random people, and the volume. Some concerts can be extremely loud and almost unbearable. But I love concerts and I'm financially stable so whenever an artist I love is showing nearby, I will be there.

I've only ever been to 2 concerts, both Twenty One Pilots, one in 2015, the other this year. From my experience though, the smaller the crowd, the more fun the time, you can connect with everyone there more easily.
